  1. Yes good idea! It will be fun seeing my bosses (aka noobs) try to ride these trails while their low life back office employee rips through the berms!
  2. Ok but I`m blaming you if I get in trouble with my boss.
  3. Its time to upgrade to clipless pedals on the mtb dude, tekkies are unacceptable to use in mtb races, it makes me look really bad when I finish behind you. Flat pedals are for downhillers and noobs.
  4. Thanks for this, now we just need to clear the Ribbok (or Reebok? see what I did here<-) tekkies from Rouxenators feet when he rides there
  5. Mah dissie hollie dis rry my brru, ek rry hom lankal dan hol djy nog
  6. Ek se^ hos want dis omdat djy met tekkies ry dan kan djy nie oor daai stompies bunnyhop nie
  7. The Argust is so over-hyped and has reached its sell-by date now. Get away from the traffic and hording and take your mtb out into the country side instead, and bask in the joy and wisdom of Mr X.
  8. No Edit: Just remembered 1 liners are not allowed so I added this edit.
  9. Cape Town will not be Cape Town anymore by March 2018 it will be waterless Cape Town.
  10. Hello, hi, good morning/afternoon/night. Hi my name is Mr X and I am a mtb addict. I have been clean since yesterday afternoon and still going strong. Thank you for your support.
  11. I always wanted to ride a dragon
  12. Ek gaan ook die 1 dice, klaar ingeskryf, as ek verloor dan moet jy my `n bier koop as troos prys en as ek wen dan moet jy my `n bier koop vir as `n wen prys.
  13. Was it the Southern African White Spitting snake? I also found 1 in my pants once. Its still there, it can puff up just like a puff adder.
  14. I would rather like to see that, if it rains on Argus Sunday 2018 it will be the biggest happiness ever in SA, for Argus Sunday will be after DayZero.
  15. I wonder if they have lifted the BB of the Anthem, probably not, this is the only thing that I do not like - the nasty pedal hits. Edit: well actually if I would guess that just by looking with the eye it does seem like the Anthem bb is higher than before, probably the 120mm front instead of 100mm
  16. They are holding out on us. They are milking the success of the RS1 for another year. Bring the RS1 design to the SID and Reba already!
  17. For that price it will have to do more than just make coffee.
  18. Do these have sidewall protection?
  19. No thanks I`m not sponsored I have to pay for my bike - Silverback Sesta for me. Sesta frame design seems superior at like 50% of the price of a Cannonball.
  20. Yes for 46k this Cube is unbeatable value. But then there is the Silverback Sesta for +-55k. Sesta has a claimed weight of 10.8kgs, 1x11 xt, Stans Crest wheels, SID fork, and award winning suspension design. So for standard price of 52k for the Cube the Sesta is better value. Edit: Sesta head angle is 70.5 a bit better than 71 Edit: A small Sesta will suit smaller riders much better than the smallest Cube option.
  21. Indy is like x100 more fun to watch.
  22. I think I would rather have a normal lightweight 29er race bike and another 275+ hardtail.
  23. Weight and rolling resistance is a lot more on 275+. Even with these lighter tyres like on the reviewed bike, it will be a lot heavier. Also did these light tyres have snakeskin protection, since the weight is so low? Fixing 275+ punctures out on the trail seem a bit scary to me.
  24. I think that a 140mm dual suspension 275+ is more of a niche bike since most riders wont have the skill needed to get anywhere near the limits of this bike. This bike should be used for extremely technical trails, and then doing fast on it. Most riders will be better suited to a 275+ hardtail. I have tried a 275+ hardtail and it is a lot of fun but does need a lot more muscle to pedal compared to my normal 29er. If I wanted a trail bike as an average technical rider I would consider a 275+ hardtail.
  25. 275+ is heavy and needs a lot more power. The only advantage to long distance riding on 275+ is you will come back with new muscles in your legs you never knew you had.
