    Giant dual susp

The Anthem 29er has got a very long chainstay for size medium and small.
  2. I tape a tube and tire lever to the seatpost. Multitool and stick on pathes in camelbak pocket and mini pump in shirt pocket. I don`t use bombs ever. This is all I need for mtb.
  3. Maybe the South-Easter cleaned up after the race. Well done South-Easter!
  4. I did the route today and there was no litter! If the route was cleaned up after the event well done to organizers! If not well done to the riders!

    Rugby...

What I do not understand about rugby is why leave out the most dangerous player in the world out of the national team? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UU9MfcBkffY&hd=1
  7. Pilates will solve your problem but get a dually anyway.
  8. The Shield is light and very fast but got enough grip as a rear. It`s only 2.1 so not enough volume as a front but the perfect race tire on the rear. They seated with a floor pump on my AC wheels and held air perfectly without stans. On the Crest rim it required a compressor to seat but held air perfectly. I`ve used 4 of them so far and 2 of them got tiny sidewall cuts before the tread was worn. I won`t recommend it as an everyday tire but it`s my favourite racing rear.
  9. Try the Ikon Exo, great as a rear tire.
  10. Racing Ralph - I do not like seeing my R650 tire being dissolved when I ride a tar section. That`s what my Ikons are for - to not dissolve like that. But when I want fast I switch over to my AC Race wheels with a Ralph on the front and a Ritchey Shield on the back.
  11. Great to have John-Lee back! Good luck to him he sure is a great talent. Would be great to see him win the Epic someday.

  13. I see in the near future another new wheel size coming out. It will be the real 27.5er. Then we will have 26er, 650b, 27.5er and 29er. After that we will get a 30er, and 2 years after that they will bring out a 29.5er....and so the wheel (size) turns. Oh I forgot about the 28er and 28.5er!
  14. Chainsaw lube is designed to work well under very high temperature, your drivetrain is cold. It should not work well. Go Chain Wax is for cold purpose industrial and agri lube under normal temps like mtb drivetrains. I would not use chainsaw lube on my mtb.
  15. This was a traffic accident where the taxi driver was 100% at fault. The mistake the taxi made was to turn in into oncoming traffic. Crossing the white is legal when turning into a side road. These cases usually end up with a settlement fine paid towards the deceased family, usually less than R50k, or a minimal jail sentence of 3 months or so.
  16. Got to post the vid again. Pay close attention to the part where he advises on pedals and clipping in:
  17. But he said he rides clipped in! Got that one wrong!
  18. I LOVE Giant. I would love to have a 650b Trance to play on the trails with. For long distance and stage racing I am not sure, for this I would maybe wanna stick to the Anthem 29er. For a hardtail I would definitely want it in 29". For small to medium sized riders the Anthem 650b would be great.
  19. But Sauser has got 3 more horsepower than me to keep those big hoops going
  20. For me I like my hardtail in 29" but dually I want that 650b Trance or Anthem.
  21. Squirt is too lightweight for mtb, Go Chainwax from Bearing-Man stays on and is cheap. But the best is Rock n Roll Extreme.
  22. You would complain cause you will only see it for a split second.
  23. I rode off-road to my friends house on a bomber with flats when I was young. Now I ride clipped in and I`m so fast I ride in my own class.
  24. Hahah but at least he got some...before her shyte drove him nuts and he hit the road...
  25. Hahah we could end up in an endless loop of threads asking where the thread has gone asking where the thread has gone asking where the thread has gone....to infinity and beyond Hahah!!!! Admin at least did come out and answered the question though. Are you by any chance a software programmer?
