  1. Why can't the scammers find jobs at other places? Why do all of them work on oil rigs? Is there no vacancies in the SA government?
  2. I sent them an e-mail earlier today, it took them a whole 41 minutes to reply (excellent response time IMHO). BUT, the item I enquired about that, was advertised on their website (quoted from the e-mail), "This item is no longer available unfortunately. Is there maybe another option I can help you with?"
  3. Oh, and I always compare other online prices with the prices on the Bike Addict website.
  4. Everytime I enquired about items I got a reply in less than I day and everytime all items was in stock. I placed at least 5 orders from them in the past, no problems with the orders and quick shipping. They are the first online shop I go to when I need something. Maybe it is some kind of luck I have, I should probably play the Powerball at some point.
  5. Nevermind, my unit is working fine. I used the wrong cable. Edit: I used a Extreme Lights cable that almost exactly looks like the Lezyne cable.
  6. Maybe I am using the wrong cable.
  7. I used a cellphone cable, I used the short cable that was supplied with the unit. But now that you mention the cable, I'll try some more cables.
  8. The problem that I have with my Mega XL, when I plug it into my computer for an update, the computer does read the unit, it charges, but it does not show on the computer. Any suggestions, I will send a e-mail to Lezyne as well.
  9. I think I have a 10 speed XT rear derailleur that is looking for a good home. I want to swop it for a beer. But seriously, I might have one up for grabs, not sure about the condition.
  10. Yes, this might be an option. Thanks. I am just waiting for the bike (actually a tandem) to be delivered and then I'll check if I really need a fork. Will contact the seller.
  11. Yes thanks, have seen that one. The bike cost R600. I don't want to pay that much for a fork.
  12. I just bought the cheapest one I could find. Pity, I forgot to check for one with a brake. Mine is brakeless.
  13. I am looking for a 26" fork, straight steerer, 9mm qr. Working condition.
  14. My little Nino is 20 months old.
  15. Maybe they still have? https://bike-addict.co.za/collections/lezyne-gps
  16. And the XL's backlight is great for riding at night.
  17. I assume it would be fine, but this was one of my concerns as well. I remember when I used colour screen mobile phones like a million years ago, how difficult it was to use them in sunlight. The one phone in particular was the Nokia 3510i.
  18. What he said.
  19. Oh, and if a need a new unit in like 10 years from now for some reason, I would probably but another one if they are still available. I would buy one without comparing it with other, newer units. The XL is more than enough for me.
  20. Yes, as far as I can remember, this is correct.
  21. Yes, but I can't comment on the Mega C. The reason I didn't take the Mega C, why do I need a colour screen on a bike GPS? How good would the colour really be and would the colour screen not use more battery power? Basically I don't need a colour screen and I want more battery life. The Mexa XL has tons of battery life. I can't remeber all the specs of the Mega C. But the XL is really gooooood.
  22. Mega XL is a great product!!!
  23. Sjoe, that bike is lighter than my wheels (joking, but close). I kind of like the color.
  24. I recently got a Rapide 32T Oval 3mm offset chainring, LOVE IT! It suits my riding style perfectly.
