  1. I don't know if people feel ripped off, I've never been in that boat. I squealed when I paid that much for my second hand car.
  2. Does anybody maybe have an old 2020 Scott Spark they want to throw away? I'll take it!
  3. Me, myself and I would always do the longer races. If I pay for something, I want to get the most out of it. Not that I always completely cope with the longer races, but still, I try and I do them. (It also depends on how far the longest races are).
  4. I have a hardtail with a RS Reba. After about a year, I still trying to find the sweet spot. Go check the videos on YouTube, start with the basics and do the setup over a couple of rides (or a lot of rides in my case).
  5. Muggers in Mellville sound like a Jack Parrow song.
  6. According to the comments, scam on FB:
  7. Did you know, I can do a EFT to probably anywhere on earth, from anywhere on earth, as long as I have a data connection. It seems that the scammer has a data connection on the oil rig, because he can be on bikehub.
  8. Get an extra set of MTB wheels and put on some slicks. Oh, and tubes are fine.
  9. DIS WOES!!!
  10. This is a print screen from my phone. (Please ignore this post! This makes no difference.) Look
  11. In his defense, on my phone I thought the bike was green, but when I upload the pics to the computer, I saw it was yellow.
  12. If I Google correctly, it is a 2016 Scott Spark RC900!?
  13. And the year model?
  14. Can somebody please assist, which model is this? All I know is that it is around a 2016 year model.
  15. I don't have experience with a lot of tyres, but I have never damaged a Crossmark. I always replace them because they did their job (they do puncture). The Ikons on the other hand...sjoe, they don't last. I am kind of exited to try the Recon Races next. I do XC riding.
  16. I insured my bike at Miway. Had a crash and they paid out without problems. Currently insured with Jasure without any claims. Seems fine. Had a couple of questions that they answered quickly. They are a bit cheaper than Miway. The part where you can only activate your premium when riding is nice, but I don't use it. My bike is always insured, I don't want to forget to activate it when I go for a ride. And what if the bike gets stolen from the garage when not insured?
  17. I second the hardtail statement.
  18. Both is fine, I would probably go with the Silverback. As with Titan, I got excellent after sale service form Silverback in the past.
  19. This is one topic I try not to think about...
  20. Cajeesho!!! (sorry, I sneezed).
  21. Is the trails safe to ride alone?
  22. Which Boschendal route would be suggested for a kind of exprienced XC rider? The longer, the better. Keeping in mind it's a hardtail bike with 100mm travel.
  23. I use your first option and yes, you need to remove the front wheel. I only transport one bike. One wheel is no problem, but two or three might become a problem.
