  1. Silverback Stratos AL5
  2. This: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001808560506.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.69b53a52DMX40a&algo_pvid=4c914700-46d6-490f-9c0f-f7f4bd837217&algo_expid=4c914700-46d6-490f-9c0f-f7f4bd837217-14&btsid=0b0a556116092218967402413e6786&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_
  3. Just but it!
  4. Maybe they still have? https://bike-addict.co.za/collections/lezyne-gps
  5. And the XL's backlight is great for riding at night.
  6. I assume it would be fine, but this was one of my concerns as well. I remember when I used colour screen mobile phones like a million years ago, how difficult it was to use them in sunlight. The one phone in particular was the Nokia 3510i.
  7. What he said.
  8. Oh, and if a need a new unit in like 10 years from now for some reason, I would probably but another one if they are still available. I would buy one without comparing it with other, newer units. The XL is more than enough for me.
  9. Yes, as far as I can remember, this is correct.
  10. Yes, but I can't comment on the Mega C. The reason I didn't take the Mega C, why do I need a colour screen on a bike GPS? How good would the colour really be and would the colour screen not use more battery power? Basically I don't need a colour screen and I want more battery life. The Mexa XL has tons of battery life. I can't remeber all the specs of the Mega C. But the XL is really gooooood.
  11. Mega XL is a great product!!!
  12. I would have gone with the Silverback or Titan, probably the Titan.
  13. When I had a wheel that regularly broke spokes, it was a cracked rim.
  14. I would also go for the 29 HT, just less maintenance on a HT. And a HT is more fun.
  15. I think my AL5 with Reba fork was under 14kg.
  16. Sjoe, that bike is lighter than my wheels (joking, but close). I kind of like the color.
  17. I just don't trust my torque wrench.
  18. Yes, I am missing a Merida bike. I am at work and my Merida is in my garage. Oh, how I miss my bike today...
  19. Earlier this year, I did by a new bike because my pivots kept on squeaking and cracking.
  20. It seems that any problem can be solved on Bikehub, eventually... What I would have done in this situation, I would have bought a new hub. (ek sal nie so kan sukkel nie, ek wil my fiets ry!)
  21. I am no fork expert, but in my opinion, the best forks for me would either be a Reba or Sid. I currently ride a Reba. I had a Recon for 5+ years, no problems at all. I had a Manitou Markhor, sold it and got the Reba. At this stage, the Manitou was easier to set up. I am battling to get that sweet spot on the Reba.
  22. I had a Manitou Markhor on my Merida for a couple of months. Sold it and got a RS Reba. I can't complain or say anything bad about the Manitou. Good fork for the price, I only did XC riding with it. At this stage, I would prefer the Manitou as I still have to fine tune the Reba. I am struggling a bit with the Reba. I just can't find the sweet spot, I think I need a volume spacer.
  23. I recently got a Rapide 32T Oval 3mm offset chainring, LOVE IT! It suits my riding style perfectly.
