  1. The problem with riding over a puffy, I don't carry any spare shorts on my rides.
  2. ...it was a stick.
  3. I while back, I saw a cobra standing in the middle of the road, looking straight at me. I stopped like 10m in front of the snake. I had to pass and the snake didn't want to move. I threw a couple of rocks at the snake to try and chase it away. Nothing happened, the snake just stood there. After 10 min I started to go closer were slowly. After another 10 min, I passed the snake without any bites or dead snakes. (the rest of the story to follow in the next post)
  4. Buy a mountain bike?
  5. Soooo much more questions regarding this...but can't wait for the new BikeHub.

  10. My wife would kill me if I put my bike on our Coricraft couches.
  11. Me, my bike and all weigh +- 93kg. Most of that 93kg is me by the way.
  12. I only use my hydration pack on the 60km+ races, even if there is water points. The main reason is I don't like to stop at a water point. When I stop at water points, it feels like I loose momentum and the will to ride when I'm suffering on the bike.
  13. I hydration pack is for water, water only, nothing else. Think my Camelback can only hold one spare tube or something similar in size.
  14. I had a Maxed one a couple of years ago. Used it once or twice, gave it away and I never wanted to use one again, ever. Not only the Maxed brand, all of them. Last year I got a 1.5l Camelbak after I almost dehydrated and died (not really) and I love it. You can't really feel the difference riding with one or without one. I would suggest a Camelbak out of personal experience, I got mine on special from Takealot I got the red one, much better price than this: https://www.takealot.com/camelbak-hydrobak-1-5-litre/PLID44772018
  15. I also found that my new and heavier dual susp is overall much faster than my hardtail. Not exactly sure about the numbers, but the dual susp is probably 1.5-2kg heavier.
  16. This is a smart and practical design. Small wheel on the front. Now you will always be going down hill.
  17. Leszye Mega XL https://www.takealot.com/lezyne-mega-xl-gps-limited-edition-red/PLID54858755
  18. I use it more for xc riding, but this:
  19. I have a Jamaican bank account, will that work for you?
  20. I am in Kimberley, do a safe transaction with me!
  21. And your bike smells like a summer breeze...or something.
  22. Spookpis (a.k.a. Q20) works for me. Edit: But I want to try the cable tie way...
  23. I am willing to pay as well, just trying my luck. But thanks.
  24. I need/want a 780 carbon handlebar (riser preferably) and a 60 mm carbon stem, for a mountain bike obviously.
