The Court of Arbitration for Sport on Thursday upheld a decision by the Monaco Cycling Federation last June to suspend the 34-year-old rider's racing license. Rasmussen is banned until July 25 and cannot race in this year's Tour de France, which begins July 4. The ban started the day the Rabobank team removed Rasmussen from the 2007 Tour when he was leading the overall race. The team said Rasmussen lied about his whereabouts when he missed pre-race doping tests. Rasmussen acknowledged he lied when telling cycling's governing body, the UCI, he had been in Mexico. Rasmussen said his team knew he was actually in Italy and France.

I feel that they should be banned for life from any competitive cycling and thats it! Then you know what will happen to you if you want to go illegal.

Its happened once or twice that my soft tail links start to squeek. just spray a little bit of WD40 where its noisy. Works very well.

The common flu and diet medicines you get,contain pseudo-ephedrine or nor-epinephrine usually in combination with an anti-histamine or paracetamol or codein to make in an over the counter schedule 2 medicine at pharmacies. Ephedrine is usually available as a powder but it is schedule 6 now and not available without a prescription. I phoned the drug free people last yr about these combinations of pseudo-ephedrine in flu tabs and they were not fussed about it. I have a feeling that you have to take pure ephedrine to get high levels in your blood. Will confirm this with drug-free organisation on Monday. I would like to know what product Eben took.

This reminded me of a real story about 18-20 yrs ago when I was still in the army. I was working at Voortrekkerhoogte and 1 Military hospital at the time,doing night shift as a medic. At about 11pm that evening, a chap came into the casualty with his girlfriend, had a towel around his waist, and insisted to speak to a male doctor on duty. We called the doc and afterwards we found out this poor guy had a "powerfailure on the job". Apparently a vein burst in his "tool" and it was swolen up like a tennis ball. He required micro-surgery afterwards to have it fixed.

This is not just your normal bikeshop around the corner. Its probably the most well known shop in SA. AM did an excellent job in building it up. Good luck to him if he can make something out of it. Konaman2009-01-16 05:15:54
