  1. Advise who and where u got it from to help others in the future Please
  2. Ok thats good to know Are they cape town or joburg based
  3. Seen ads on Instagram but never chanced it yet Some decent pricing
  4. Think folks or shops might be hesitant to rent it, unless agreement if you crack it you pay for it.
  5. They have some more subtle branded tops. Just pity travel is so risky pricey n not as frequent else it be way easier to ask someone to bring it back over
  6. Is high up considering that small area Guess smaller bottle it is, take tiny sips lol
  7. Seriously couldve turn out way worse if was less experienced rider and got massive freight and veered off into sidewalk. Crappy behavior
  8. Side exit holder will.be cheapest solution or the lyne holyrail at around R800 Is the stratos a lighter frame and easier to throw around
  9. We need to do a group buy perhaps We can score abit on sale items, as they go into winter stock we buy the previous summer range
  10. No idea but they succeeding and it irritates the crap out of me
  11. Merida is sold already - as per the seller Simba. Yet again the crime has paid off
  12. Damn, really this is out of hand
  13. for this reason i left the van with the normal rear bike rack , but fitted these top racks onto the sedan - safer or less risk of knocking into something
  14. so you also experienced the noise for the holy rail? and just tossed it rather?
  15. Just dont forget you have the bike ontop and go into a mall parking I have same racks and only reason i know the bike is on wind noise as im driving
  16. nope he has the bike as he sent me pictures of it other than that on FB, knows nothing about the bike though Not year model, size of frame, was willing to accept R7500 for it. When i said i am coming now to view, advised he sold it.
  17. A i was thinking if any benefit of going to 800mm aswell. hahahha, thats why asked for full pic to see if that saddle bag is hanging around. I have the holy rail from Lyne and i still hear fair amount of noise from it (tied up co2 bombs), so just weighin up if i need ot go hip bag aswell
  18. so even our local housewives dealing in stolen items, eish not cool. glad it got recovered though, but seems Cash converters are common denominator in most cases.
  19. Do you carry another saddle/tool bag on your bike besides the EDC And does the extra length on the bars make a huge difference in the comfort of your ride? looks good, think we need full pic of the bike just to check if it really all non branded as far as possible
  20. My first set of real pedals, got off a hubber
  21. awesome job! you got it without paying for it? guy just gave it off? interested to hear this
  22. This is a possibility aswell, but i guess we cant do much about that - peoples intentions as if they doing that karma will find them and their new bike will get stolen etc OP's with a lack of enthusiasm will defnitly deter hubbers from trying to locate a stolen bike and thats not good either Atleast we know what bikes we should or shouldnt buy.
  23. and this is why other folks who got insurance to pay out wont go to the measures and effort that you did. Then we got some hubbers getting passionate about it, whilst OP not too concerned. I agree, we need to stop every possible re sale or acceptance of an stolen goods. Often people dont have ownership papers of bikes they bought second hand tho (more to the entry level under R10k 2nd hand deals)
  24. *opens up google to find this trick*
  25. Maybe we should have a dropdown option on stolen notices on the hub "insured" & " not insured" Will save the hubbers from alot of grief for trying to track the bike and getting the owner to go retrieve the found bike. The other thread got intense due to OP not having the same urgency Pure Savage - welldone on this too. If its marked as insured then we know atleast what stolen bike is out there, but dont need to be so invested in trying to get OP to go recover. Just so happy CC got taught a lesson tho- nice work!
