Same here.I also try as far as possible not to unclip on a mtb either.I am fairly good technically but over the years have had some hard falls.One in particular when we were climbing a huge granite smooth rock in the bush and a rider in front of me on the sloped camber stopped and put foot down.I was too close.

We used to come down from Botswana for the weekend to do the event.Great stuff.At least 20 of us. One of my highlights was to stop in the orange grove on the way back and sit and eat an orange fresh and sweet and bursting with juice.Man worth the 5 minutes.

I bought one in 2013 and as you say a bit worse for wear but still hanging in there.I think its time for a new one.Worn all the time.Accidents happen at the oriface,in the car,hiking,paddling wherever.
