Same here.I also try as far as possible not to unclip on a mtb either.I am fairly good technically but over the years have had some hard falls.One in particular when we were climbing a huge granite smooth rock in the bush and a rider in front of me on the sloped camber stopped and put foot down.I was too close.

  10. We used to come down from Botswana for the weekend to do the event.Great stuff.At least 20 of us. One of my highlights was to stop in the orange grove on the way back and sit and eat an orange fresh and sweet and bursting with juice.Man worth the 5 minutes.
  11. Years of riding to school in the rain in the Cape helps. I will never forget.We were bombing in down Kommetjie Road towards Fish Hoek Main road in the rain and someone opened a car door in front of me.How I missed it I dont know.I must of swerved and my mate behind me was convinced I was tickets.Riding in the rain is a skill
