  1. Quick return on investment for Chris Froome.
  2. New Caddy share its gene`s with a Ford. Perhaps a Toyota VW in its next life cycle. After 10 successful years of ownership with both Mitsubishi and Hyundai, a Toyota is on the horizon due to value for money.
  3. Wishful thinking on my part. Awesome for Beers to have opportunity to go for another win.
  4. Matt Beers and Tristan Nortje to race Epic as a team? Prospect for SA team to take the yellow.
  5. There a few options, search the hub. Gary Kirsten was there a few christmas ago for epic training. Haley Earth from Hub, cant find her now, knows the area well. I did a route from Boknes, pass Canonrocks, coastal road, through Sanparks to Alexandria and back. Route from Alex to Salem to Kenton. Normally a race in Bathurst and also in Kenton-Eco estate. Enjoy will be there Dec 2022.
  6. The same here. Many years back around 2009 training stress and work stress left me injured and ill. Completely fell apart in my A race goal for the season and only after the race was diagnosed with shingles and stress fracture. The week before the race awake at night in a cold sweat, could not breath and the stress of getting the "Timing" right took its toll. Same stress fracture that took Henri out of Olympics. Took 2010 off completely and started 2011 with a coach and doing a bit of weight training, best decision ever! Will always advise to get a coach!!
  7. Congrats! Review please and comparison to your previous bike.
  8. Certainly learned something new today. When I did the Pyrenees 50 Col Challenge, my neck took a hammering, almost to a point of wanting to quit. Stupid me thought the cause was looking up into the mountain for hour and hours on end. Shermer`s neck sounds better.
  9. Respek @Vetseun Sterkte met jou herstel. Jy het ons trots gemaak!!!
  10. Medelye @*Reinet* Marais Rus in vrede @Cois jy het moed, deurnis en liefde getoon in jou stryd. #Merkwaardigeman
  11. Summer better arrive soon! We arrive 18 December, hopefully no disappointments like last year. To keep on track, I will be transporting 3 bicycles with trainer wheels and a lot of running for myself.
  12. Awesome! Memories of the track build at a local primary school over a three year period. Labour of love…was proud when I saw a child or grown-up use it. I am a desk jockey, left thumbs, was proud of the shovel work. Unfortunately the School decided a rugby field more important…still no field..
  13. Final build pictures please.
  14. Chapeau Vetseun!!!
  15. Veronderstel om myne ook te wees. Go Vetties!!!
  16. Pylvlak!
  17. Contribution made towards the Vetseun Munga challenge for Cois. Vetseun, jammer, maar jou Britstown cucumber sandwiches is oor betaal aan Cois. All the Best to Cois and Vetseun.
  18. Take it Lance is not in the book? Not a fanboy but have admiration for the time, effort and mental strength it took to go back year on year.
  19. Morning, is this account still active to use?
  20. Not quite the Karoo, here in Upington our night temperature and early mornings are on average 5degrees less than the norm. I still go out with long sleeve shirt on the morning jog even a beanie this morning. My point is, I expect the same for the Karoo and the participants can be caught of guard equipment wise.
  21. If I recall correct, here was a dad that restored a Titus for his son to a very high standard. Sorry, but I still can`t seem to work the search function.
  22. Was hoping for one of those legendary pre-Munga get togethers @Vetseun in Bloemies...
  23. Good luck Vetseun!
  24. https://bikinginthebosch.co.za She helped a few pro’s and female Cape Epic winners.
  25. The only GOAT, Greg Minnaar.
