  1. Perhaps still a personal sponsor for 2020.
  2. Different carbon and layup the frame, frd is their top-end racing bike for the the Pro`s. In the frame description, reference to Ultimate. Bit I am totally with you and agree, only difference being I will buy one Ultegra bike and two trips to France/Italy/Spain/Andorra to cycle.
  3. Can`t some one with connection in the bike industry put a few brands on this guy, forget about McGyver, Vinnie, Chuck even Arnold, Rouxenator will survive them all. If I recall it is flats and takkies? More traction than a pimp Signal at Epic or dealer visit`s in the Platteland. Ps. I Trust you are healthy, but do not value your life as much, candidate for life policy?
  4. Rouxenator, you are a great candidate for one of the "local" affordable bike brands, Signal, Titan Racing and Sunrace or Mircoshift to sponsor, to show the longevity of their products.
  5. In my racing dae het ek die klim na die sateliet toring by Boomrivier geklim, in die middel tussen Upt en Groblershoop. Op die bergfiets klim ons Tierkop in Keimoes.
  6. Was a bit strange to see the new Farr framesets on international sites with not a lot of coverage on Bikehub, with the history of direct marketing and comms.
  7. With the marketing scrip of the Tarmac SL7, the rating is disappointing, thought at least 7 out of 5, no questions. Did not know that when the chainrings are caput, the power meter as well. The Trek looks good! Different option Orbea Orca
  8. I think you can, changes made recently, have not attempted.
  9. From a computer, Reply and then More Reply Options
  10. The Ritchey came out great! Must have bike in the “lotto collection” dream bikes.
  11. KV cant see lekka on the pics, is your brakes converted to have one lever for front and back?
  12. Neatly done. Money well spend. All my bikes have home style protection, basically the same, more professional. His was done professionally so cant comment on the process. My diy jobs...wifes is good at it.
  13. a Friend had his Scalpel done by Armourtek, took a good few days. Will see tonight, not sure who is more exited about the new bike, me or him!
  14. Jakkals, I am a softy. In my dreams I would love a hardtail. On the trails if I want to stir the training group, I would joke and say, will do Attakwas on rigid hardtail...will not survive 10km.
  15. The new Transition Spur is a bike I will buy. Frame around R50K, will also struggle to get a complete bike below R100K, which unfortunately I can`t spend at his stage of my life. I know weight is not the be and end all, but weighing 63kg it does effect me. Spur is arround 2445 grams, Evo 1757grams and the Sworks 1659 grams, that is something special.
  16. Not sure, will need to google. Remember Haile more as a 5 000m and 10 000m athlete than marathon runner. Both are humble and leaving behind a legacy.
  17. Pinkbike compares the EVO and SE, introductory with full review to follow. First initial impression`s from my side the EVO takes it! Ps. The wild frame EVO option with those blue Piccolo brakes from Wayne would look awesome. But then compared a few stats with the Mobu...interesting.
  18. Did this car perhaps made it`s way to Upington. Here is a red one that have changed owners, not mine unfortunately.
  19. Bought my son a Giro Scamp for his second birthday, turns three in a week. He loves his helmet. Had a quick glance at the price, it doubled...at R1200, personally I would look at alternatives. Bell, Lazer and Uvex bring in kids helmets at the R600 price range. Titan Racing deliver a kids helmet for R350 that looks like good value.
  20. I once gave Bogus a butt call...the truth.
  21. Strange received an subscription update email from payfast, but it is not my Hubname or actual name.
  22. The membership is about all cycling related I can afford these days.
  23. I would like mine in red, cause red is faster.
