  1. More of this please!
  2. If 11 month old Tom could speak, I can find out for you how they taste. Yes our son is named after Tommeke.
  3. NickGM Yes you are correct africanis! They make wonderful pets, not sure if it due to their upbringing but if you take one in, they are well mannered and very loyal.
  4. Off topic, apologies. Chris It is my wife, our eldest son (4 years) and her brother, they should get the credit! They drive with food parcels in their vehicles. We even got stuck on a dune in Askham once with her feeding stray dogs. Her dream is to get a "plot" outside of town... To be honest, I am not always a happy camper for two reasons: Not always sure about the animals temperament. We had taken in a pit-bull, he chased all of the cats and when myself and boy jumped into the swimming pool he lost it. Me financing this. If their is a new animal, I always tell them hopefully on retirement the animals are going to look after us. We had taken in an afrikaner three weeks ago. The boy said he looks like a hyena, and was named Jagter. Jagter was place at an awesome family! The boy did not understand when we said we do not have space to accommodate Jagter full time, his solution was for "pappi" go and buy the families house.
  5. Patch Our local town no longer has a SPCA, here is an animal welfare society and my family took upon them to look after animals the best we can. Currently have 8 dogs and 9 cats, luckily not all at our house. I am probably way off with Cav making Paris, but I am going to support him! Your bet is a bit rich for me, but not one to stand down. I have made a donation to Jewbecca`s Addo Corridor challenge. Thank you for your kind donation. Donation confirmation: Charity: Eden to Addo Corridor Initiative Project Name: Guy McKechnie - Tusker Corridor Warrior Donation Amount: 1000.00 Donation Date: 2021-06-30 07:36:25 Donation Ref: KSJGD-SF6ML-9P8ON Donation Merchant Ref: BACKABUDDY4248737 See you in Paris!
  6. Few ZAR down on Cav for Paris. Secret Pro thinks the course is to tuff for him to finish. With no Olimpics on the cards, the high of today, Paris must be on the horizon.
  7. Dan is ek arm gat, want ek het nie eers geld vir `n Titan Racing nie. Wat is goedkoper? Do like the new Merida 96, will be second on my list.
  8. Personally I want to have a Titan Racing bike.
  9. If not for the first day time losses will have been up there. Go Louis!
  10. Shimano GRX 815di2 with the carbon crank gets my vote! Looking forward to this build.
  11. Disappointed for Louis behalf. He is not the worst of the gc riders, around 2:16 down.
  12. Cant see other winners than top 3, van der Poel, WVA and JA. Going to punt Valgren!

    Ciao ciao

Going to miss the awesome bikes. If I am ever in the market for a steel or titanium bike, will look you up for input and advice. Safe cycling! That Ritchey frame do over was awesome.
  14. Not so easy, peanuts this year was not successful.Pecan nut prices down R38 per kg from last season. Ship…PV plant development with cashflows for 20 years.
  15. DD, I am a desk jockey, fondling a "som pomp" for a living and dreaming about riding endless trails one day when my ship sails in. My experience is export farming, export raisins, solar park development, few product agencies and even a bike shop. Probably just a moan gat this morning.
  16. End consumer always at the shortest end of the stick.???? ZAR/USD was previously always the excuse. ????
  17. There a few factor in play, covid, shipping cost, supply delay, demand... This time last year the ZAR was at R17.43, this morning around R14.10, I do not see this reflected in the price.
  18. Been reading a few marketing material, articles and reviews, Scott trying very hard to distance the internal shock from Bold, not sure why, own it, it is your company and with that IP.
  19. Many people was unhappy with Hatherly going in place of Phillip Buys, but it was an investment in his future. I wonder if Alan still has the SA custom flag Giant. Concurr with your comments on Reid.
  20. I have still not decided, the offer is R1000 below suggested retail. Had a look at the quote and it is for X not the S version. I have asked about my old unit and the reply was "disposed of environmentally friendly", so probably being refurbish or certain parts are being used again.
  21. Send in my Fenix, recieved offer to replace with Fenix 6, R3000 below suggested retail. Not very happy, still undecided what to do.
  22. Few years back he and Porte went on the attack in CD.
  23. Add Martin
  24. Looks like a neat frame, should make a nice bike and ride. Best of luck with your sale
  25. Was here not a love story on Bikehub before the big crash. Fond memories from that thread.
