  1. @Barrywe`ve done two conversions, no problem and the children run very very low pressure.

    R1m Bike

Sommer net daar anderkant toe gekyk!
  3. Don’t think so, the spot securing deposit is R5k.
  4. @Furbzpersonally I would not be to concern about how the Bastion rides, there are superbikes in your collection, this Bastion has its place. If it was not for the Battaglin coming a No.22 would have been my suggestion to add to the collection.
  5. @Furbz beautiful, a master piece! Will look at the Bastion for days! Try navy handlebar tape. Congrats and enjoy your new bike! Hopefully the Bastion is in your will and going to a nice homešŸ˜‰.
  6. Like your style! Going to look great.
  7. @Furbzthanks for the pictures of your awesome new bike! The whole week I`m thinking Zipp/Enve for the wheels...should have known you`ll have something special, those Princeton wheels with chrome will complement the bike! What cages are you planning on using?
  8. @Furbzplanning a ride for Saturday? Please share some candy!
  9. @Furbz, not sure I would be able to sleep.. having those beauties in boxes! Enjoy the build and your awesome new bike!
  10. How did the 26er came out? I`m still on the lookout to replace the Sweep fork.
  11. Heartbrake…the time, well done, you can be proud!
  12. Have you seen Remco’s bike…just imagine Pogo’s TDF, Giro, WC and olympic Nago…don’t forget the NFT on that frame. Don’t think EM has an olympic medal, only reason for my comment. Not a fanboy of either.
  13. The question of the season for me would be, what if Pogo participated in the Olimpics? In all probability solved the question of best cyclist forever.
  14. If possible go into a LBS, look, feel and hopefully ride the different variants. @Titan Racing Bikestime to sell some Cyphers! PS, Gen2 Cypher RS Carbon Elite will get my Zim $, in mustard.
  15. I would say the Titan Racing Cypher Limited edition with the DT Swiss Shocks. Comes in alloy and carbon to make the budget, not to much weight difference between the frames. BUT I would look at Gen 2 Cyphers, although I have not seen one in the flesh nor pricing.
  16. I`m not a Nino fan but he had three flats. https://en.brujulabike.com/nino-schurter-3-punctures-separete-fight-overall-world-cup/ I know how much you love Maxxis.
  17. Buy the WC edition!
  18. DSTV stream, also not happy about it. Just a hassle to setup.
  19. Keep us updated. Considering the same mod.
  20. @Pieter1, Tom our youngest has a Scott Roxter, beautiful green, he wanted a green bike. Not so keen to ride, my thoughts were get him the green bike, he will ride. Bike is beautifully finish but...has coaster, I did not do my homework. Perhaps he/we use it wrong, but he really struggles to get the bike off the line and there is a little play in the crank before engagement. His older brother got the hang of it...he likes doing S`e with the bike. Looked at options to remove, possible but then only front brake... I would not buy again. Ps. Tom uses the Norco outside in the street and the Scott in the house/yard. This is on a 16inch first bike after balance bike.
  21. Still have my green cycling shirt that I have won, it came with a tub op Pornstar’s energy drink, think it was called Whasp. We are renovating, will se if I can find it.
  22. Where is the new bike?🤐
  23. Iwan, think this option is in my future…little Tom knows about stones and birds his dad has no clue about. Seen some great specials on those models! Enjoy your riding time together!
  24. Our eldest received his Titan Racing 20inch at 5 1/2 years. Upgraded to the 24inch at age 7. My initial planning was to ride the 20 inch for a few years, skip 24 and go to 26. The jump to 26 is definitely not on at age 7, that 10cm is to much and was also surprise by the size change from 20 to 24. Our first MTB school league on the way home the wife tells me, Markus should get bigger wheels, it was a "nice" 600km drive and the reason for the 24inch, 6 months before Christmas. My sister`s boy inherited the 20inch at age 4 1/2, he is a big strong boy and only the brake levers that does not fit. My youngest, age 4, is still on his 16 inch with training wheels at our house...last Sunday the other two is showing off their riding skills at my mothers house, Tom jumps on the forgotten 16 inch Norco and ride a few laps, gets off and content to ride with his father on his Feva. Riding on the menu for tonight! PS. Replacing the 20 with 24, could not help to think back to @ChrisF comments of 15-18months new size, luckily there is 3 boys. Planning to sell the two 16inch to fund the next 20 inch.
  25. @dave303eyou have a good few years to look forward to. Our youngest, Tom, yes named after a cyclist, Tommeke, is four and we go on daily rides with his older brother and nephew. Will rank top 3 best buys.
