After fitting the Rocket Ron`s, Tom now wants to go and ride, yesterday even took the road with his elder brother and friend. Normally I need to ride with or run along. @ChrisFThanks for promoting our region and local race! The region had lots of rain, was not the best table grape and raisin season and the citrus look peculiar with expected increase in shipping. However, the great Orange river is full, flowing fast, the veld and animals look great, meat aplenty! and we are entering out two most beautiful months of the year, April and May. It is now the time to start that training and come and enjoy the Northern Cape.

This geo block is concerning. What is our alternatives if the local supplier(s) do not bring in 20 and 24 tubeless tyres? It took me 6 months to "chase" tyres in SA from Bontragers to Kenda for my local LBS to sort two sets via Cytek (was special order), unfortunately they are just not fit for our use in the flat land, kids in WC and KZN will probably love them.

Must be new. Place my order 2 Feb 2026. DHL working through SAPO not the best. On Monday the parcel was lost, on Wednesday only arriving in SA between 12 - 14 March, for the local SAPO branch to contact our office with the good news the parcel is with them and they will keep for 7 days. Give me 7minutes and I am there. Will post picture in next week of the fitment.

They finally arrived. First ever only purchase from across the great Orange River. Took about 3 weeks to arrive, import tax and duties below my estimate and the end price being R908. Alot of money bit could not source an alternative. Bought 20 and 24, all three boys sorted.

The burly 20inch I’m willing to pass on. Nothing wrong, keeping it air it is just not suited for our area and a bit heavy for Tommeke, he does not have the piston’s like Tom Boonen.

If you run in neutral shoes, for the price, my recommendation is the Rise.

What shoes do you currently have? Switched to Adidas Supernova Rise last year, bought on special at Poobie Naidoo. Made the switch from Hoka Clifton and New Balance 1080, decision was based on price and I am very satisfied with the Rise, looking to buy another pair. The Rise is taking me back to my school years running in Adidas Ozweego.
