Wow! Bit of Giant fan from the Once days moving to T-Mobile. Always on the look out for a T-Mobile frame to compliment the Once frame. Over December the previous frame was on a sale, compared to other top end bikes for a steal. Even watched a few You-tube hacks to integrate the cables.

@shebeen My boys are 7 and 4, they have no interest in racing or being competitive. Their bikes is going to the shop today, we had rain in the desert, the bikes went for a swim. They will wait for their mates to finish together or get loss on the way after seeing a stone or animal. It does pain their father more than anybody else...#killerwhale. I do have a question regarding the training of young children. Most of the articles state that children should just be children, play as many sports as possible, have fun rides...but then you get these children that is going to Olympics (swimming) at 16 years of age...and I`m thinking they must have been training heavy miles from age 8. In cycling Pogi is possible an example. To my mind conflicting. Your view?

Don`t think the heart rate zones is correct. With those zones the blowout should not have happened.

The new Pinarello Dogma X has a cut out BB junction, marketed as a Strut to increase pedaling efficiency.

See there is a road bike in the classifieds. Option to reach out to seller, there is probably a connection. Been keeping an eye on them for the last twelve months. Reviews of the road bikes is promising. Unfortunately with our weakening ZAR, not necessarily meaning a bargain purchase. Can`t exactly recall the geo of mtb, but was on the conservative side. PS. That road bike is a beauty, will consider above the Titan I`m very fond off.

It was HOT! Even the Upington boys took a beating! Some technical problems in the first half, but still 1h30min longer than normal ride time.

Yesterday morning run at 5am 24 degrees, on my return just before 6am, cool 29 degrees. Our weather is changing, our evenings way cooler than 10 years ago.

Come to Upington for some heat training!!! A lekker route from Upington to Kakamas and back.
