  1. Entry Sold
  2. What is quite infuriating is that our boys seem to fire on all cylinders come IPL. 3 of the top 6 batsmen are SAFFAS, players like Duminy and Miller are fielding well, Quinny is doing everything right behind the stumps. Morkel and Morris looks much more dangerous than during the T20WC. It just blows my mind that we cannot seem to get it together when it counts.
  3. A certain ex hubber would say 'suurtiet!'
  4. The Stormers were outplayed. Simple. As a die-hard Stormer its hard to admit, bit the stats tells a story here. The ref cannot be blamed here. Its 'swak' from Wakefield to even go there.
  5. It seems like I will not be able to do this one. Getting eye surgery done on 20 April so no riding for at least 4 weeks. [emoji53] Selling my entry for R750 (full price was R900).
  6. Thanks but no thanks. We ain't got no time for that!
  7. Pity Supersport can't find a way to broadcast at least 1 of the games played in a week. Instead we have to watch 2015 IPL re-runs. I attended 2 games, well, 3 days of 2 different Sunfoil games, and there seems to be a huge gap between tests and Sunfoil cricket. As a laaitie I remember Currie Cup cricket as intense and very competitive.
  8. The first 3 is what really matter, but try tell that to 4, 5 and 6. Perhaps start the funriders at least 30 minutes after the pro's? [emoji6]
  9. And it only takes about 18 hours to fully assemble a car. The raw materials cant cost more than R20k. We're being screwed over hey!
  10. I think part of our problem is that we have been borrowing ideas from others, opposed to coming up with our own fresh ideas. If Phangiso played either of the games against Windies / England, we would have gone through to the semis. Our problem was not so much rotation of bowlers, but team selection.
  11. Jip. that juice is usually reserved for the biography once athletes retire. I enjoyed the honesty of the article.
  12. What a chase! Well played WI, and that without Gayle having to do the graft.
  13. Loving how NZ play the game at the moment. Like the Windies they have relatively few resources and a small player pool, but end up punching above their weight almost every single game.
  14. 2 big tosses lost. Its called cricket. We'll get over it.
  15. Ok so how long before the RD touches the ground when you are in granny? 56? 58? Also, any views on the correlation between chain length and chain failure / wear? Call me old fashioned, but I'll take my dinner plate on the front right next to my side plate opposed to on the back for now.
  16. Well done Lesotho Sky. No doubt some will stay away now, but weeding out the dodgy ones is kind of the point.
  17. Some Indian book makers made a killing in that last over...
  18. Yes! Amandla! Power to the people! <and all that cr@p>
  19. I really don't mind the Epic going the route it does with their focus and entry fees. There is a very nice 2nd tier (J2C, Pioneer, W2W, S2C, Berg and Bush, etc.) and third tier (think all the smaller stage races) that are hugely popular and offer better value for money. None have the bragging rights the Epic has, which is fine with me. I'm probably not Alpha male enough to want that medal THAT badly. On the whole its fantastic to have the Epic as we would not have seen the likes of Sauser, Lakata, Platt, etc. racing at our events throughout the year. Our best products are being exported every day (fruit, wine, etc.) and our best services are aimed at the international market (game lodges, exclusive yacht charters, helicopter charters, etc.) the Epic is no different. Trying to point out how out of kilter the value proposition is (apart from the Prestige factor) will merely frustrate us and create unnecessary animosity towards the event and the participants. The Epic does not have the best routes, is not the toughest (think Freedom Challenge) and does not have the best hospitality. It does however have a certain quality that attracts those who can pay the premium the event is asking.
  20. Nice to see something else but an RS1 on a bike. I think the 120mm version may do well in SA.
  21. Jah! Ids like dose oakes putting airkon in deir bakkies hey! Almal sissies!
  22. The Era holds 1 bottle (the green one) on the down tube. Most DS bikes do not have room for a second bottle on the frame, calling for either a seat post mounted bottle or a tri mounted bottle (on the rails of the saddle) Excuse the bad pic, but the Epic takes 2 on the frame. Some lady riders I know sighted this as a reason to stay with the Epic. A pro like Kleinhans will easily reach the bottle behind her on the seat post, hence my comment that its a small inconvenience.
