  1. ... But how is hubland going to respect you if you take premium upgrades?! Tent it and ride barefoot... because real men don't wear shoes either.
  2. Ok I'll bite. The correct price is where S=D+1 Where S= supply D= demand Lets see if they sell it out or not.
  3. Chuck Morris bowling a nice spell here.
  4. Great show by the Lions tonight. I'm a thorough-bred Stormer, but its difficult not to appreciate the type of rugby they are playing right now.
  5. A solid bike with not too many surprises. The obvious draw back (all be it a small one) is that the Era can't take a water bottle on the seat tube. Its a feature that many like about the Epic.
  6. The aim is to get footage of the front runners on the more technical sections. It seems like on most stages he picks them up closer to the finish.
  7. Next net they should all bowl with a bar of soap. The dew can't help things.
  8. Lets hope that it does not boil down to who wins the toss in this tournament.
  9. Hydraulic disc brakes come from motor bikes, we have electric shifters now, lights on our bikes thats stronger than some car lights. In a country where we don't have the luxury of ski lifts (now THERE's assisted ascent!) I can see a real niche here.
  10. Well what do the Indian pitch curators do now? To be fair, the NZ spinners are basically part-timers. Santner averages over 50 in first class T20's,McCullem averages 40 and Sohdi averages 44. For us Tahir averages 26, Duminy 40, Phangiso 32 and Behardien 49. It will come down to batting firepower and how the respective line ups play slower bowling. Chris Gayle showed us how its done last night.
  11. I remember sweeping the Simonsberg contour and having to sweep single track while back markers were taking the shortest route back to the finish, thinking how nice a little assistance would be to get me back onto the back markers. I can see many applications for this. It obviously handles pretty well. Sahm easily kept up with every one in the play park section at Meerendal (admittedly not technical in nature and he had about 15 go's at the same section), it has commuting potential and utilitarian function for medics, rescue response and media coverage (as per the current use). Its not a Frankenstein, but could appear a bit more refined.
  12. Amazing scenes in Nagpur!
  13. My ride from yesterday only showed this morning. Was showing as pending all day yesterday. Not sure if they have a new protocol to verify data.
  14. Early ride for me and back home to catch the live show on sunday.
  15. Perhaps that Morris and AB would play?
  16. Aussie coasting it. Seems like we are treating it as a warm-up game. Not fair to a sell out Newlands crowd if you ask me.
  17. Decent start for our boys as QdK drops one down 3rd man's throat.
  18. Another question: If I am out doing a ride, should I rather do 3 "sessions" on my Fenix, ie. record my info from my home in SSW to Jonksershoek (usually an easy ride of 90 minutes at 60-65%, first session), smash Jonkershoek in 45 minutes at high intensity at 70-85%(second session), and take an easy ride home (another 90 minutes)?
  19. ... but the story of the big corporate bully eating up smaller stores is just much more in keeping with our need for sensation and outrage, and by boycotting the big corporate, people feel just a bit more empowered (an illusion, I know), even if the feeling only lasts a couple of seconds. I prefer to look at this as a way to assist one of Specialized's long serving athletes after he retires from competitive racing.
  20. I'd drop JP for Steyn for the Wanderers. On a good track you need the extra proper bowler as someone is bound to go for runs.
  21. Can't he 'break' something so that Albie can get a call-up? (Not wishing injury on him, but faking one perhaps?)
