Went for a ride in Rawsonville on some new trails.Didnt know our beloved Breede River Valley had so much sand.

Buy them new MTB's.[emoji4]

That went fast.....got my son a balance bike for christmas,on his first ride on it he was already scooting along with his feet up. At the end of January we had a family gathering and my sons nephew wanted to ride my sons paddle bike and I had to take of the training wheels for him.About an half hour later we were very surprised to see our little guy peddling around on his bike without training wheels or help from us. Started taking him out to old BMX course in the veld behind our suburb.

Thabo on the right is staying short and growing in width,Moemoe on the left seems to be geneticly streamline.

This is why most of us are on this forum,our love of cycling wich leads us to do crazy sh*t like this.

Finally got a new pair of shoes after mine were stolen over the holiday.

Think we might have passed each other somewhere,I did quit a lot of riding around there aswell.

That is a mouth full and basicly what I wanted to bring to youre attention,but you are way ahead of me. I have fished in the lower parts on farms as I have heard that the 'Beats' from Dwarsberg upwards to the dam is closed to public.Have heard a few months ago about the Barbel coming upstream and that they have been spotted in the pools just under the dam wall aswell.Glad to hear that they have moved out of the river again. As for the mudslide,that was a real bummer,we use to go spinning in the dam almost every third weekend,along the dam wall and as far as we could walk along the sides.Now that the road is wiped away we are to lazy to climb the damwall.Tried my hand at fly fishing there,but the trout are to deep and the bass want something that moves.......It could also be that I dont really know what I'm doing..... Only use that rode for cycling now,really nice too ride through the 'pass' and really good training,we ride it atleast once a month and have been planning to do a night ride sometime witb full moon,when the weather permits it. Give me a shout when you visit again and might be looking for a riding buddy.
