  1. Man, I was close to filing down the teeth on that chainring to make it work. Who cares about chain drops if it means you get to put that beauty back on
  2. Was heart broken when this Connex Black EDI didn't play nice with my narrow wide chainring Got this VERY blingy KMC X10SL. Very, very bling ????
  3. The wind is pumping here now so that might explain the nice air he got in the pic
  4. I'd be stoked as hell too. Super nice man!
  5. Hey that's my local spot too these days. We should meet up for a ride sometime...definitely looks like you could teach me a thing or two.
  6. Everyone getting offended/defensive here must immediately be regarded as dopers themselves! (How do I use italics....aargh, nevermind)
  7. The guys at Stoke Suspension Works confirmed that they can get the oil. Just waiting for the price. EDIT: scratch that, I see they replied to you in your other thread already.
  8. Any recommendations on where to take my fork for service and ballpark figure of what I'm looking to spend? Lower leg service on pike...new seals (which I've got) and oil basically. Considering doing it myself if only I knew where to get the oil so any feedback on that will also be appreciated.
  9. Or WTB Asym...love those and all those you mentioned as well. The reason for a Flow or Arch is that I keep it a completely Stans wheelset which might make it easier to sell and get a completely new wheelset altogether.
  10. Sorry but just had to share this longtime dream of a fork for my Pyga that finally came true. This might be the only crowd that truly understands ???? Yes, yes..."sacrilege" I hear you say about that Crest on a Pike...working on it ???? (If anyone has a Flow rim lying around or know of a good deal on one give me a shout please)
  11. Might even have been the XL http://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/all-mountain-frame-guard-xl Can find out for you if you still need to know.
  12. I've got a medium frame and bought the large frame guard if I remember correctly. I did have to trim about 5mm off each side for a good fit though.
  13. Yeah I spent a lot of time there. Were you perhaps the guy who was waiting for his pascoe to arrive?
  14. Hmmmm..."120 wipes the 110 on the down stuff"?Sounds a bit biased there...but then again, me being a 110 owner probably doesn't make for a real credible counter argument either :-)
  15. I also use the All Mountain frame guard. Expensive (if not bought on sale) but tough as hell...and looks pretty rad in my opinion if that's worth anything.
  16. Thanks! Can anyone confirm my understanding that bike components (e.g. Pedals) are free of import taxes? Complete bikes however are not and neither is apparel. Does helmets fall under the latter (apparel)?
  17. Sorry nevermind, the answer to my question is in the article...just didn't read it properly
  18. Is there a calculator before you purchase that works out all these extra fees? Customs is a black hole and I'm always worried about ending up with a purchase that costs be double the expected amount.
  19. Bring it to CT...we'll build it and ride it here
  20. Saw that and thought the exact same thing. Nothing against Spez just really think it highlights Pyga's value-for-money offering.
