  1. Yeah good option as well. Exactly the same gear ratios amd weight as the sunrace so Comes down to the best price/deal between them.
  2. Depends on what riding you do but I spend a lot of time in big cogs spinning up so that I can descend. For me that XT gear spacing was not going to work with that 37-46 jump....the 36-40-46 on the Sunrace works very well. Shopping around a bit you can get the sunrace for roughly the same price that XT is going to cost after import duties and shipping. Oh, and then there's the 11-50 sunrace as well if you want to go that far.
  3. Like it so much that I made a deal with the buyer of my 110 so that I got to keep it and put it on my new bike. Great shifting, range and price...oh and it looks pretty damn nice as well.
  4. You're going to hate that void...once I got there I sold my bike and bought something new that needs upgrading...I now feel much better again
  5. Haha, I know but it's like giving up your identity. Lesson learnt: don't choose a name based on your gear as that will inevitably change and then you sit with an identity crisis
  6. Best upgrade you could've made!!
  7. Did you actually fit it in the parking lot on the back of your car!? :D Not judging, just funny. That's something I would do.
  8. Personally I ride with a chinbar on my Bell Super helmet, not so much because of the gnarliness of the trails (on social rides I'd go without it) but rather because the risks of competition pushing you beyond your normal responsible limits. Chances of a proper faceplant is just more likely in a competition than on a social outing...well in my case at least.
  9. MDK! Feel like selling? Because Eddy feels like buying
  10. No offence to your bike but my word that is one terrible design decision from Commencal. What the hell did they think would happen!?
  11. Yeah also made this rear mud guard out of a plastice bucket. Works great.
  12. Only $18 but be patient as you'll wait about 6 weeks for it to arrive. https://sramnation.com/collections/rockshox/products/copy-of-lyrik-decal-kits#sm.0000d9zebfg7qe3xzhw2lnbt1h7kf
  13. Some new stealth fork decals...hate the standard white ones Before After
  14. Hey man, I also like a clean bike so I shouldn't judge. Besides, the number of pictures of my bike on my phone can't be normal so let me not pretend
  15. "Will attract dust like crazy"...are we talking about the Tallboy mountain bike or is there an executive sedan with the same name that I'm not aware of? :D
  16. "Anyway - real world experience - Hans Dampfs work FAR better on 35mm rims than on 25's. As in FAR Better" Wait what...Minnaar rides 2.5" tires on 25mm rims!? https://m.pinkbike.com/news/greg-minnaars-santa-cruz-v10-29-bike-check.html You'd better tell him his got it all wrong Mr Mayhew (just messing with you dude)
  17. That Shann looks like it came out of a farmer's shed. Really a difficult bike to look at
  18. No man, you've been completely brainwashed Calling 26 internal "narrow" is completely and utterly RIDONCULOUS
  19. "25% stiffer and stronger for improved handling" "Designed with input from our Enduro World Series teams" Really comes down to who one chooses to believe and personal experience I suppose. Having had 30 internal I personally am very sceptical about 35 internal resulting in a good tire profile on a 2.35. Unless it's a tire that weighs 1kg which is really not for me. The weight penalty is also not that little in my opinion. Yes a set of Flows weigh only 150g more than the Arches but you're going to want to fit tires that weigh 400g more per set and all of a sudden you sit with wheels that weigh half a kilo more and that's noticable to put it lightly. Then there's the fact that I weigh only 68kg and prefer a bike that can climb as well as it descends. You probably hit 10m roadgaps and can justify Flow rims but I sure can't
  20. Might be helpful... http://www.bikeradar.com/mtb/gear/article/6-of-the-best-knee-pads-50116/
  21. Looks awesome. Wonder where the dropper post cable exits
  22. Or let me put it this way...
  23. Lol, I'll copy/paste my answer to the exact same question in another thread: I really think the Arches are the better fit for this bike. To me this is an all rounder and not a DH sled. Besides, at 26mm internal diameter these are a real nice width (in fact they're wider than the previous generation Flows) and quite a bit lighter than the Flows. Also, Stans designed the MK3 Arches with Enduro in mind and the Flows for DH...it's real step up from the previous gen Arch Ex. Don't get me wrong, I like wide rims and had Arc 30's on my previous bike but I really do buy into Stans's "WideRight" philosophy and for my preferred tire widths too wide rims do not feel right.
  24. Some new wheels for the Jeffsy...Arch MK3 on Hope 4
