  1. The hassle and drive from where I live doesn't make that worthwhile. Will have to go through at some stage though...damn reverb acting up.
  2. Yup, there goes my plans of buying some spares. Bent back the original which will have to serve as an emergency spare once the new one arrives.
  3. They do have stock at R275 incl VAT. Postage to my loaction in Sbosch is another R70.
  4. Anyone know if our local YT dealer stocks replacement mech hangers? Have emailed them today so will probably hear from them tomorrow. Just curious if someone else was able to get one locally.
  5. DIY Mudguard V2.0....this should help keep both upper and lower pivots free from excess mud.
  6. This is trully the ugliest frame I think I've had the displeasure of laying my eyes on.
  7. "Good fun. Enjoyed it."...May I never be this underwhelmed with a new bike
  8. No need to go abroad. RSA outlet sells that very Jeffsy for 29k which will work out way cheaper. I know this because I bought one http://za.yt-industries.com/cat/index/sCategory/563
  9. So why then do you have carbon Mr Mayhew!?
  10. That's a lekker bike....good choice. Wishing you many happy miles.
  11. Yeah good option as well. Exactly the same gear ratios amd weight as the sunrace so Comes down to the best price/deal between them.
  12. "Special invoice"...isn't that admitting to setting up a crooked business. No thanks, enough corruption and fraud in this country as it is. Anyone partaking in this is no better than our corrupt government IMO.
  13. Depends on what riding you do but I spend a lot of time in big cogs spinning up so that I can descend. For me that XT gear spacing was not going to work with that 37-46 jump....the 36-40-46 on the Sunrace works very well. Shopping around a bit you can get the sunrace for roughly the same price that XT is going to cost after import duties and shipping. Oh, and then there's the 11-50 sunrace as well if you want to go that far.
  14. Seems like he went off track and didn't re-enter at the same place
  15. Like it so much that I made a deal with the buyer of my 110 so that I got to keep it and put it on my new bike. Great shifting, range and price...oh and it looks pretty damn nice as well.
  16. They are great cranks, had one on my Pyga. Direct Mount chainring and SRAM compatible made tye decision fairly easy...especially at the price it sells for.
  17. That would be whole different price class
  18. Ask CWC, they're super helpfull. I bought the Arch MK3 on Hope 4 hubs on their 40th bday sale for R6200. Asked them if they could do boost on the rear (which wasn't listed on the sale) and also asked for black spoke nipples. No issues.
  19. Couldn't agree more: https://www.instagram.com/p/BXPc0xyAGpB/?r=wa1
  20. You're going to hate that void...once I got there I sold my bike and bought something new that needs upgrading...I now feel much better again
  21. Haha, I know but it's like giving up your identity. Lesson learnt: don't choose a name based on your gear as that will inevitably change and then you sit with an identity crisis
