    Yeah it really is an insanely capable trail bike. I already put down a deposit on Monarch Plus during this lockdown period. I think with the Jeffsy the shock tune is very important as it has such a progressive suspension. So when I found this shock with the right tune I had to get it.

    Kinda feel like one having started this page, lol. But the real “verraaier” here is actually YT themselves. I’d love to buy one of their new Jeffsy’s but I’m not able to. I’ve had my bike for 3 years now. Kinda hoping it doesn’t sell then I can continue with the original plan of just upgrading my suspension. Still in 3 minds a bit...the YT is such a killer bike. What am I doing!!!

    Does anyone have a monarch plus on their Jeffsy? Want to know how it performs and what tune shock will work.

    Oh and pointed a colleague to the goodtimes.co.za website where I bought my Jeffsy from. They still show previous year models on sale but when he phoned they said something to the effect that that site shouldn’t even be up anymore and that he should contact Black Sheep Cycles for YT purchases. Bit poor form to leave the site up and create expectations. Seems rather difficult to get hold of a YT in SA these days.

    The best friends tend to get you into trouble no and then and Jeffsy is no different. Broke my collarbone and tore the ligaments off over easter weekend on Paarl DH track. I still have a plate and screws inside me to show for my “fun times” with ‘ol Jeff That said we became best buds again last weekend when I tried the new Banhoek trails. This MUST be the absolute perfect trails ever built for Jeffsy. It epitomizes “trail riding” in my opinion. If you haven’t taken your Jeffsy there yet, GO!!!

    Finally got the new rim decals. Colours match so well you'd swear they came with the bike.

    Yeah, absolutely warranty. My reverb is doing the same and I've already been in contact with Roman from YT. I just need to get my bike to them and they'll sort it out. Just haven't had time yet.

    Never had a day's trouble with my Fox DOSS. Seriously miffed. Apparently the 150mm reverbs in particular are prone to issues. A real pitty because after riding the 150mm I don't want one with less than that.
