  1. The Big Nine hardtail of their looks sweet ! Visually I don't like this desing much
  2. but that's the "circle of life" there I guess
  3. Just as a big a tjop as the guy that rode right through the red light at Castle Walk the other day
  4. Hahah ok then will shelve that idea....
  5. Ok so I have road shoes on the road bike with MTB pedals and long finger gloves, where does that put me in the style man tjop rating ?
  6. Slightly OT I'm just wondering, seeing as the roads aren't safe, has no one opened a road bike park yet ? There are lots of MTB trails so why not make "trails" for road bikes ?
  7. Big thanks for all the support guys ! Currently in 11th place, 11 more votes then I'm in the top 10 Though we still have some work to do, the leader has 251 votes
  8. Yep to go with Slowlady's comment, I find the Euroride flippen heavy and cumbersome to put on, seeing as it weighs about a quarter of what I do. OK I'm also weak but let's not go into that
  9. Yep watched it, really is a testimony to human endurance ! Has the Sandman done it yet ?
  10. It's not about the bike
  11. Anyone have their details for the man ?
  12. Good morning hubbers ! Hope it was a good weekend of riding. Now if you have some time to spare while having your morning Java, please head on over to Facebook and vote for me Appreciate all the effort so far guys and gals !!!
  13. I could be mistaken but that is the direct weight on it that it can take, as it is a removable type towbar. Something like a trailer is supported by its own wheels so not an issue.
  14. Oh and MJ you are welcome to try my rack out, just give me a buzz as I need to fetch it from our storage facility. Or I can just mount it on the Corsa and you can fiddle with it there. Whatever
  15. Nie seker nie, I know my Corsa tow bar that's removable is rated to about 50-60kg. Thule will say how much the rack itself can handle. Thule Euro range is also my choice, got one from CWC for 4K, 3 bike. Euroride is the entry level one that I also have I remember correctly. Allot cheaper but heavier, so depends what the towbar takes and what the bikes weigh if you will need the lighter rack. The Euroway (?) can also remove the hooks and bike stands so fitting bikes on is easier. Wheel indents can be adjusted for bike length (an issue with the Euroride that can't do it) Better ratcheting straps and locks included. But all I wanted was a good standing rack with clamps instead of the hanging type that scratches bikes and needs a gazillion straps to secure the bikes so taking that into consideration with the price the Euroride is my pick.
  16. Such as the N4(?) that people use to ride to Harties ?
  17. Hmm seems this app is a bit buggy If you go to the leaderboard link on top of the app, I should be on the 1st page, no.12 Let me know if it works
  18. 13th now with 26 votes, awesome job guys !
  19. Less fuel used than roof rack, also you can't drive into stuff but yes colision from behind will damage the bikes. Dust from a dirt road is a given. IMO for 2 bikes get a 3 bike carrier, so much easier. 3 can be fitted to a 3 bike and so forth but going one up I find there is more space, less damage and less hassle. The racks are quite cumbersome to store, they do fold but still big and mine is 15kg so not light either, though you are a spier tier so shouldn't pose an issue Some racks do not have reverse lights, keep that in mind. You will need to get car plates made for it to be legal. check that the light coupling is the same on the car and the rack. Check that the towbar can take the weight if the rack with bikes. Also the rack has a bike weight limit so ensure yours are light enough. The cheaper thules dont lock the bike to the carrier as standard, you need to get locks of your own or get the thule locks. They also use straps for the wheels, the nice racks use ratchets which seem more secure. The bike may touch the rack frame where the clamps mount so I put a slapsock on the rack to stop crank rub. Think that's about it
  20. Thanks for all who voted so far, your names will go into the "draw" Kosmonooit - I don't know how to bypass that, if you don't feel comfortable doing it no worries
  21. My idea is to use a random number generator and then use the number from your post where you said you voted, it that's drawn you win. Sounds fair enough to me ? Not sure what the actual Oakley merch is that one gets so what the actual prize is I cannot say yet.
  22. Thanks dudes ! Mackie you not riding hill2hill ?
  23. Moving up, only 200 more to go hehehehe
  24. Shot Josh ! Gives me an idea, hopefully the other guys aren't making fake accounts to vote with. Anyway Karma is a biatch so good luck to them
  25. Nice to see so the support coming in, see hubber aint that bad Thanks Guys ! @brad - tried inviting but the system is having a bad day, will try again on monday
