  8. Cool just let me know where I can send the $ to
  9. That's cool, some of their prices are actually the same or a bit less than CRC I found Duesouth useless though, but then again, you can't run a specialist outdoor shop like a mass fashion retailer... Bought a Suunto T3 there, wanted a new Heart Rate Belt and they point blank refused to order one. Told them to stuff it in no uncertain terms, went on CRC and bought a Garmin Edge 500. Never been happier
  10. Guess he wouldn't be asking if they could afford it ?
  11. Cool man. A student myself but I try help where I can, as I never had someone that did the same for me when I started

  13. Maybe he should bring back Power Balance bands ? *takes coat and runs*
  14. We should organise a group ride in the area, I'm sure I've ridden most of the areas being mentioned but can't recall most of them from the descriptions here
  15. Sigma PC3 HR monitor watch on CWC for R190 would be perfect. Willing to contribute towards one Any one else ?
  16. Ok will do that as well thanks !
  17. Yeah got it new earlier this year, not a roadie so only really use it to train on for mtb'ing so its not doing serious K's. Didn't spot marks there before, washed it about 3 rides back and it seemed fine. Bike is a felt F85. Havent hit any potholes so wondering if speedbumps on Klapperkop could be a reason for it ? Tyre was pumped at 90psi, 23c size. Didnt visibly squash when I sat on the bike.
  18. Good point, but then I don't know. There are rubbing marks on both side of the inside of the fork so cant think of another reason that would have caused it. I got off the bike and spun the wheel and there was no sound and I could see it was not touching so only happens when weight is applied. Pulling brakes while riding dit not alter the sound, neither did keeping the cranks still.
  19. Thanks Le Turbo will give it a try. Had a look at other wheels/hubs online and they aint cheap so this wheels must just do its job for now ! Fork I'll check in detail but it seemed to atleast be only cosmetic.
  20. Aha ok thanks Eldron bit slow there Good one Dangle ! Will do so, but after the guy "tightened" the cones by hand I rode home and it was fine so thinking that is rather the problem.
  21. Can't read the last bit there Dangle...
  22. Hey all Went for a spin on Sunday and at about half way I started hearing a weird buzzing sound. Though it may be the brakes but pulling them did not stop it. Stopped to check the brakes and they were well aligned, QR's were tight, wheels straight. Rode away and it started again. Stopped again and started checking everything, maybe a bit of excess deraileur cable rubbing. Finally found the issue as I saw marks on the inside of the carbon (gasp!) fork. The tyre was rubbing against the inside sides of the fork. Spinned the wheel but nothing so as soon as I climb on the weight makes it rub somehow. Re-inserted the wheel but didn't help. A friendly (yes they do exist ) roadie stopped to help and said the cones on the Felt hubs were loose and tightened them by hand. Now how do I sort this out ? I have cone wrenches but how do the cones just go "loose" by themselves. Bike is not too old, has not even been in for a service yet. Being road hubs It didn't bother me that they were cheapies, as they dont take mtb hub hammering. Wondering if they will need replacing with a better hub or will just tightening be fine ? I'm now worried that the bearings may have been damaged by the cups not being properly adjusted... Thanks, WW.
  23. The retail and online stores are operated apart from eachother so that's where the stock issue arrised from I'm sure. I have no problem with complaining here, but hopefully you did try sort it our directly first.
  24. Can't help with a watch unfortunately. Anything else we can help with ?
