Anyone have a good contact to assist in resolving an issue re 2023/2024 assessment?

This is really a poor reflection on the city. I have send them photos, many times, ask many questions to Alan and George. Nada, zero niks nothing, no response. The city once came back about the vandalism on the Woodstock Mile, saying it will be fix pretty soon. Again, months have gone past, still nada, nothing, niks. The cops who is there (sometimes) are not watching or roaming. They sit at one point, chatting, smoking and on their phones, sometimes chasing me of the buslane... really?! You will get attacked 200m away from them, without them knowing... But still i ride there, had 3 close calls already. This was also shared with them, but nada, nothing, niks. They do not care. This will not be fixed or sorted by the city. They have no appetite or motivation to get onto this seriously and with a plan of action.

Application process goes pretty fast, if you have all your documentation with you and correct. It is getting into the actual building that is the biggest delay, but no getting around it. When you pick up your permit later when it is ready, it also goes fast, that is once you in. They are pretty jacked up and knows what to do. Note, you have to pick up in person as they then take photo of you to have it on the system. You cannot therefore pick up for someone else. Once you have your permit access will be a breeze. Received mine yesterday, and if it was not for the World Champs this weekend I would have been there. My suspicion is however that it will be crazy busy this weekend.

This race review was on Cadence last night. All the rider reviews were great and very complimentary. They obviously did not talk to the A to C bunch it seems...

Chris I noted that the Start Batch for the Boobies Troops is 5C. Ouch, do we get individual seeding as well or must we ride with the Troops?

Relax and enjoy your seeding - I am in "R" for Really WTF? 🤪 In what world did I ever?! Will try to change it, but if not possible, I will be riding my MTBike on the trails come Saturday.

17km for me, but could be well worth the trip, rather than fight the traffic and parking.

Anyone cycling in from Blouberg side to the road bike event? I will be keen to link up...
