Eventually made it to Central Park in Modderfontein today... Trails are immaculately maintained... pristine ST... but they're just not my cup of tea. (more like warm flat beer... but that's just me ) but any ride is better than no ride I was told this is an old dynamite storage bunker?

Summer was showing off in The Cradle this morning.... Awesome ride on the MTB loop with a couple of bits added. Not even a puncture ruined the day... albeit I didn't have spares What tool goes out without spares!! I've become so complacently used to nothing going wrong... anyway, lesson learned! I was helped by some awesome people out on the road and even managed to pay it forward not even 10 mins after my incident with some ladies who very well stocked with spares but battling to use them. The AWESOME!!!!! new Bidon Bistro just after the start of the MTB trail...stunning place!

Need to ride here again!

can anyone help? a friend is looking for a group to run with, he stays in the Honeydew/Northgate/Jackal Creek area. He's new to trail having mostly done road. He's done 2 comrades so should be ok with most fitness levels.

Couldn't ride this morning thanks to #workdoodies, so instead of "lunching" I did a quick almost double spin of blue at Hero@Hobby... and threw some Futurelife in a "boetflask" due to my time constraints, this sign made me laugh... I didn't have time to slow down!!! I was on a schedule ... BUT I did have time to go back to snap the pic

I've got some pics of me sneakily taken a mate at King's a few weeks back... I'll share when I find them. Re the bike balancing thing... It's very important to to get this right, to make it look like there's nothing hold the bike up... this, takes time!! In these pics the little rock was there to stop the bike rolling back... what you can't see, or really see, is the stick holding the bike up

All iPhone. for the last month, it's been a 6S, but before that was a 5 for about 3 years. I'm pretty much the same, I see something or have an idea for a pic and try my best to get it photographed as I'm seeing it. With these, I was trying to get the gradient of Concrete Road captured, but couldn't.. then while messing around I was lucky to have the sky looking as awesome as it was, so that became my focus. I use the Camera+ app to tweak them. Some people seem hell bent on professing to the world their pics are #nofilter'ed... I couldn't be effed... I point, shoot, tweak. There's often lots of squatting and lying in suggestive positions to get these pics

Hello Twenty SSixteen at VG yesterday morning... Planned a chilled cruise along the river and surrounds then something took over my common sense and I did half the donga in "reverse" , Concrete road, DaggaPad... then sadly missed Tant Miems when I saw about 5 baboons cross the trail about 30/40 m ahead, my common sense kicked backed in and I doubled back to skip the Tannie ... Other than being a naff and scared of baboons... the ride was awesome!
