  1. Both. It's got a Flip-hub.
  2. Thanks there will be two decals applied later.. small ones though.
  3. You know what they say about jealousy Li Mu Bai...
  4. As already mentioned ... Welcome the wonderful world of mountain biking (and a possible addiction ) If this has already been mentioned and I missed it .. Apologies.. Shotgun, what you need more then anything else in this sport is a sense of humor! That, is more important then any bike be it 26", 27,5" or a 29'er. Or a Baggie vs a bib. Hardtail or DS... Many happy kms!
  5. Probably jinxing myself .. But in 3 years since going tubeless.. One flat.. And that was from a tyre being Freddy Kruegerly slashed by glass shards.
  6. Thanks for all the compliments guys. I'm very chuffed with the way it came out.The photos don't show it,but the white has a hint of pearl, so it's got a nice shine to it Handle bars will take a bit of getting used to (only took it out for the first time yesterday)... but i think I'd have to change them to a flat bar for longer distances and something like 94.7.
  7. Thanks RB. it's "Shop" bike... brought it in, as is, from the States.
  8. For 94.7 this year, I'll be on my Road SingleSpeed/Fixie....
  9. I'm a huge fan of sunrise and sunset pics. here're a couple taken from home. some with my 4 and some with my 4S this was taken with my "riding phone" not the greatest quality, but I love the pic taken this morning at Groenkloof with my 4S
  10. WRC was a buzz with excitement when i walked in yesterday and heard the news so I can only imagine how excited YOU must be!! Have an awesome time Alec!
  11. I've got spare entry for the 53 if anyone wants it.
  12. depends on where you ride. the immediate trails on the river will be muddy and slippery, but the newer ones further ( and by that i mean a couple m not kms ) should be ok, also everything on the opposite side, Concrete Road, DaggaPad etc shouldn't be too bad. Oom Piet too.
  13. I have an entry if anyone wants it? got my dates muddled up and I'm working on Sunday pm me if interested.
  14. thanks dude.. but what i mean is along the route that's ridden through the cradle, .. are there any points where one'd get a great photo of the scenery?
  15. I need to send someone overseas a photo to give them an idea of what it's like in the Cradle, just one, that'd best show how beautiful it is.... any suggestions as to where? ( i'll take the photo on a clear day) thanks
  16. thanks. did check there, but it wasn't up when i did.
  17. Where?
  18. I'm a huge Evil Eyes fan! Have both the previous model and the half rim. No issue with scratched lenses at all and very comfy. That being said I also have a pair of Rudy Rydons and they're brilliant too, although the lenses are a bit more sensitive to scratches, but nothing major. The EEs are by far the better looking pair of the two (IMO) if looks mean anything. But the Rudy's are almost a grand cheaper (if cwc's still doing them for R1599) The EE Pro does come with two lenses , one LST and one clear orange. Tough call mate.. But I'd go EE!
  19. A "blazing" 3:30! Same as last year, but this year was a lot less tar and route was about 4km longer, So I guess I should be pleased. Thoroughly enjoyed it again though!
  20. Just got a SMS with my correct time.
  21. mine was out by 15 too
  22. Great, fun, fast route! The LC's events are always fantastic! Less tar this year. I loved it. Even though I battled to keep up with a girl who's only been riding for a couple months!
