I am planning too but I have a wedding to attend sat evening. Starting time for race is 5h57 and I want to be there at least 5am. That means leaving from Wellington 4h15 and getting up 3h30. I will have to make the call to ride or not sat evening midnight You ready Dale?

There will be lots of wind in the Wellington/Paarl area. They normally reel most in that get away up helz. In my opinion the race starts at the 4 way as you leave Wellington towards Stellies. Lots of rollers and some nice wind

Probably the most singletrack I have ever ridden! Awesome mtbing and must be 1 of the toughest 65km races in the country. I completely hit the wall at 40km and started cramping so bad that I had to walk most of the climb up to the pipeline at 45k mark. The last 25km was the longest 25km of my life. Big up to the organizers for the best mtb race on the calendar. PPA should come take some pointers

Got my seeding mail now and when I read what the % means for my seeding I almost pissed myself laughing when I saw % = top seeded male riders. Come on! I would rather want to start in A or B and be in the mix (or not) than hanging at the back of the % group praying for the race to finish

Yes you are correct and let us not forget that a certain hated cyclist already got crucified for the sins of the rest of the doping community. I fully agree that a cyclist should be allowed back after serving his ban. I just find it interesting how we decide to forgive some and others not

Don't know hey! Struggle to say the same. He is a great talent but did make a choice that influenced a lot of people. He did serve his ban................. Will you guys be welcoming David George back as well after his ban?

We are about 18 people going together to the event. If it gets called off we will just make a wknd out of it anyway. I'm taking enough red wine with anyway

Nothing like getting you back on the bike like splashing 50K+ on a toy. Was the only thing that motivated me to get back on the bike after 10months off last year
