Has anybody tried the Maxxis Ikon? Website put them at 520g.

Not that much somewhere about 17K. I am "cheating" on the tyres though and its a single speed. For another 10K I recon I cold get it below 9Kg

Ask nagala to build you up a CHUMBA! Think mine cost a bit more than 15K but then again it is a sub 9.5Kg machine. ps. check ou the hub on the Momsen. great rims but very entry level hubs.

Take a look in the classifides, Nagala has a few Chumba saddles up for grabs!

I have a 5inch trail bike (26) and a HT single speed (29). Depending on the ride I can choosen the best suited machine. Horses for courses as they say.

Sped the cash and go for a specialized. Their BG fitting works wonders for your rear.

Speed is everything when it comes to the bike park. Once you have that dailed in you can simply flow through courses such as drop off and zombie birdhouse. If you get a chance speed check Dino or James I highly recommend it. Patches can help you on the jump track.

I doubt there is a common length out there. Spend the cash and get a propper bike fitting done.

Recon you could run those around 1.2 Bar without any issues.

Are those their own hubs or just rebranded ones?

Yeah I know that skinny bridge well. Still puckers up my cheeks some days. As for the terraced drop I haven't had any issues with it (dont weigh much and use a 203/180 rotor combo) but its def hectic for the larger guys. Thats were Ricky Bobby went over the bars and was airlifted out.

I'm also building up a set of 29r wheels. Going with the new hope pro 2 evo hubs and crest rims. What I wouldn't give for a set of pro 2 evo SP hubs!

I have never had an problem washing out the bladder. A little ajax and a sponge, stick my hand inside the bladder to make sure everywhere get blitzed. A boiling hot water rise out and thats it.
