My Anthem X frame cracked this weekend in the 'usual' spot. The bike is sitting @ the LBS waiting to be evaluated by Dragons. So I am trying not to think too much about it and trust that the lifetime warranty on the frame is as good as it sounds. Just as well I am not riding Sani2C this week!

The jersey looks fantastic in the aerial shots and then when the camera is on the finish line and he is head down in the sprint, you get to see the flag again.

There was a bike wash on the tennis courts last year. School boys are on stand by, but I did it myself @ no charge. And then I boxed my bike for Cyclelab to bring home for me. They had a guy who was sort of helping out.

Depends on weight, riding style and what sort of longevity/relaibility you want. That will also effect spoke pattern. Enve uses internal nipples.

You are correct! so weight difference is almost negligible (30g ?)

From what I can gather from the interwebs, the QR15 fork is about 80 or 90g heavier The through axel is about 15g heavier than a standard skewer and I am not sure there is much difference in the hub as its usually an adaptor that is replaced.

For interest sake, what is the weight penalty?

I watched some highlights yesterday after the stage - it was great to see Robbie rocking that SA champs jersey and helmet. Great aerial shots, but the best was from the front when he had his head down and you can see the colours on the helmet. Awesome!

Its a good way to bond with your new bike. But if your setup is dramatically wrong, you could do yourself an injury

Perhaps look @ the Sram 2x10 cranks with 24/38 rings ? I currently ride a 26" bike with 3x9 gears. If I was ever to get a 29'er with 2x10 drivetrain, I would get that crank with a 11-36 cassette. From my calcs, it would give me a similar gear range.

Its rediculous! Why would you wear/use one of those and not an ordinary helmet? If you find a helmet hot or restrictive, what would you think of that collar? Have you really got such a fancy hair do? And then you forget to charge it or switch it on? Is it single use? Has anyone seen a price?
