  1. Just before heading off to Sani2C
  2. Your stand was cooking yesterday. It looked great. Had a quick chat with you & Jnr & Melanie. Helpful, cheerful and friendly. Good luck for the next few days (perhaps grab a few Redbulls on the way there).
  3. What sort of activity in other forums and letters to newspapers etc about the 2 clowns that killed those kids while drag racing yesterday? I can help noticing how much more attention that is getting (on TV) than then 3 Oudshoorn cyclists.
  4. The guy next to him looks like he has a green jersey? Non paying clingons? they were part of the group' date=' they must have had some type of prize giving before they departed. 7. Depends on how much water you wan't and how much stuff you wanna carry...
  8. I see Joe's has a road tyre specific sealant. I was wondering if this has bigger particles or something, 'cos wouldnt the higher pressure squirt the sealant out too quickly to seal?

  10. If you are in sub 3 territory, it will probably take just under 25 mins from the top of Suikers to the finish.
  11. What a man! Threatenening a woman like that. And riding over your dog? He really does deserve a face full of pepper spray and a kick in the sweets.
  12. Looks like the car came of second best!
  13. Depends on the brand of bike. 18" isn't the same from one bike to the next. Ladies generally need a shorter top tube than men, so keep that in mind. As Mud Dee says, get measured up.
  14. A mate of mine got the new Sram with Easton EA90 aero wheels on his Spaz SL3. Looks awesome and he really likes the way Sram works and feels. (Needs a bit of adjustment though, as its really quite noisy!)
  15. Not the first time I have heard of this. Infact, I have a mate who's cassette started wobbling as you described on our ride in Tokai last weekend. It probably wasnt tightened hard enough and just took ages to come undone.
  16. There have been several threads about this. Do a quick search and see other people's opinions.
  17. Sorry to jump onto your thread, but a friend of mine's Dad is also looking for an Epic partner.
  18. Yeah, come on. Spill the beans! Or is that what already happened?
  19. Have a look at this thread: https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=77348&PN=1
  20. There is a market for light bikes. Weightweenies are always trying to build the lightest bikes- UCI be damned! Major street cred in some places for sub 5kg bikes...
