  1. Watched this and Soldado one Fri and Sat nights - brilliant. I see that there is a 3rd in the making. Wow! Josh Brolin has been around for a while. I always used to think that del Toro looked like Brad Pitt's darker and evil brother
  2. Were they there to keep the JOCs and Savages out of your back yard ?
  3. People have been locked inside for the past month, so don't realised how dark it is @ 6:00 and that you need lights and that there are cars (and rules of the road etc). Drivers seem to be used to quiet roads and not having to look out for anyone and have forgotten general rules of the road. Bad combination !
  4. Quite a few of them! Yep - and that water is far too cold for the virus
  5. Anyone hear about the surfers being bust at Kommetjie this morning? (I have a WhatsApp video, but cant upload it) Check what is says on the bakkie
  6. Another interesting conversation cropped up on the neighbourhood WhatsApp group this morning: nowhere does it explicitly say that dogs can be walked. Its implied by the graphic below, but there is a message floating around quoting Government Gazette no. 43258 blah blah and then: 'In short, the original regulation regarding movement of animals remain the same. Only for emergency purposes, example veterinarian emergencies, transporting livestock for food supply etc. is allowed. People are to exercise, not animals. Animals are not explicitly included, therefore excluded as per the original regulation. Animals remain a high risk regarding transmission of the Covid 19 virus, and various other diseases. If any person can point out the explicit inclusion of dog or animal walking into the new regulations, then we will consider it, but until such time, the original movement of animals for emergencies only apply.' I call bollocks - too late for that!
  7. Durban beach front was also busy, but Umhlanga was blocked off: https://twitter.com/kaveels/status/1256118453926268929 And the queues at the newly opened malls are growing! https://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/coronavirus-all-the-latest-news-about-covid-19-in-south-africa-and-the-world-20200312
  8. Agreed
  9. Also posted on the 'exercising outdoors' thread: 'Belts are closed according to this: https://www.facebook.com/ParkscapeSA/posts/3418955211453046
  10. Anyone seen this little snippet on Parkscape Facebook that includes the Greenbelts? https://www.facebook.com/ParkscapeSA/posts/3418955211453046
  11. Season 2 was hard work, but I soldiered through thinking it was me and not the series and that I would eventually 'get it', but I didn't so I was quite relieved when it ended. I will give Season 3 a go, but my tolerance will be lower.
  12. Or just give the wheel a shake and do the audible slosh test
  13. I was having a chuckle at that earlier - imagine it was p!ssing down tomorrow morning. There would be a lot of hard core people braving the elements, but I would be standing at the door in my kit, bike in hand, looking at that rain and flipping a coin for soggy, cold wet freedom or purgatory on the trainer (again)
  14. THM Frontale Integrated Bar/Stem 949,00 €
  15. Here is your Zwift dopers secret https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K08AlzT6Qu8&fbclid=
  16. Sequels seldom are...
  17. Wow. I battled my way through that and am not sure if I am glad that I did. Felt like very hard work for not much reward.
  18. Looks Good! Is the squeal worth watching ? Sicario: Day of the Soldado
  19. It did feel a bit like 5 day cricket, but its more about telling the story, than the story itself. I watched 'Once upon a time in Hollywood' - nothing really seems to happen (apart from that one scene), but its how nothing happens that was great to watch.
  20. Agreed Quite enjoyed the scenes shot in Cape Town too
  21. I quite enjoyed it for what it was: a lekker 'Skop, Skiet & Donner' fliek, but I kept thinking that there was quite a
  22. Absolutely incredible, but I still reckon that I would have walked to the beach and changed my shorts before having a quiet sit down (sucking my thumb and rocking back and forth). I am too lazy to Google, but has anyone ever been attacked by an Orca ? Edit: Very few attacks in the wild, but non fatal. The majority of the incidents have been in captivity (understandably). Some of them were fatal. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killer_whale_attack
  23. Correct Jogging and cycling only at level 3 Edit: Font
  24. Trailer reminds me a bit of this guy
  25. I watched this the other night - just to see Harry Potter Daniel Radcliffe play a different role. I also have this one lined up, but am not sure if I can bring myself to watch it
