  2. No man! I'm fighting a subtle battle with the rest of the team to remove them to help with page load speeds and funny false swipes on mobile. They might see this support for the feature and use it against me. You can't win them all
  3. One thing we've done is reduce the file size of the large image format. This should help speed things up a bit. That said, we do need to work on that feature to make it work more seamlessly across all devices. The mobile view, what device are you using? I'll get the team take a look at that.

  10. Hi Xandre, I'm really sorry to hear about this. Did the scammer respond to your wanted advert? That's one of his preferred tricks. We removed his account with the phone number you're reporting after Donovan report his Transbaviaans scam but just in case he's using another one, at what time did he first contact you? I'd also recommend removing your phone number in the advert description. That way scammers can get your contact details without having to register on Bike Hub.

  13. On the old site, everything was operating using the forum software. It is not ideal for this purpose. And in order to update the forum software (which hasn't been done since 2015), we'd have to rebuild every part of the site to work with the updated forum software. So instead, we decided to start each section from scratch on its own purpose built platform. We started with the Classifieds, as the most popular and complex part of the site. We're currently working on Events, and then Stolen Bikes. After that, we're free to update the forum software. While all of this is happening we are running a number of parallel systems, login being one of them. It's not in our immediate plans. We've got to push a bunch of new updates to the rest of the site before we jump back into restructuring any classifieds categories. It is on our feedback list.

  15. We pushed a small update yesterday morning that should reduced the file size of the full images going forward. Hopefully this will improve load times. The file size is still fairly large but they'll always be biggish files to maintain a high level of detail for potential buyers. The zoom function, as a whole, does need some fine tuning and we've got it on the fixes schedule.

  19. We've had a few issues with zoomed images on Edge. Thanks for reporting this. I'll pass it onto the dev team.
  20. Yeah, good suggestion, we can definitely do that. But not on the current forum version.
  21. We're trying to pin-point the cause but some more information might help us narrow it down. Are you seeing any patterns to the logouts? How often do you need to login? How long are the sessions before you're asked to login in again? Is it only happening when device switching? What device and browser version you're using when it happens? You're welcome to DM me or get in touch through the Support channel.
  22. Thanks for the feedback on the ad creation. The Forum is due an update. But before we can touch it, we need to move Events and Stolen Bikes off the forum software and onto their own standalone platforms. Like we've done with the Classifieds. We're busy with this now. Once done, the Forums will get a massive upgrade.
  23. Sorry for the frustration. When did you start experiencing this? There might be some conflict with the cookies. Can you try clearing your cookies for Bike Hub on your devices? Hopefully the next login in will stick.
