Will bookmarking the Active Topics page on your devices do the trick? We're also toying with the idea of moving the Active Topics button from the bottom of the forums box on the Homepage to the top (next to the Discussion heading). That way it shouldn't hide below the fold on desktop (at least).

Whether Chat or PMs shows in the user drop down currently depends on which section of the website you are on. The Classifieds show Chat while the Forums are still on PM. Unfortunately it is going to be a bit of split until we can get the other parts of the site off the ageing forum software (namely Events and Stolen Bikes). This requires a complete re-building of these features. Once that is complete, then we can update the forum software and link everything in a much more seamless way. Chat will get improved over time, including read receipts.

Agreed, it's not ideal. We're on it though, a fix is in the pipeline.

Thanks. Size might be worth considering but more detail like drivetrain speeds etc will likely make the title or listing a bit bloated for us to display efficiently. We've drastically improved the filters. And with Saved Alerts you will can get updates for the filtered searches you've created, including size, price, location, some spec, etc.

There will be a choice between tile or list when browsing categories and viewing search results.

I fear that this question will keep us busy for a good few days after launch.
