Morning Hubbers I've published the press release from Garmin Southern Africa announcing the Edge 1000. Click here to view the article. Feel free to edit the original post in your own words again, RMmtb8r.
  12. If you're doing Eselfontein festival (making assumptions based on your location) or any other race say "Hi". Congrats on the MTB win. Did you take home the iron man award?
  13. Mad man Hope someone gave you a lift home. Yes, that was me.
  14. In that case, thanks for the chat and refreshments. I was broken when I got there. And thanks for the pre-race updates and videos. Really got me keen for this event.
  15. Thanks! You weren't by any chance stationed at the water point at the top of the main climb?
  16. Great event! Where can I find the results, once they're up?
  17. When the guys at Performance Bikes told us they had some shiny FUNN gear for us to look at, we weren't quite prepared for the colour assault our eyes were in for. 18. You should be able to get them from http://www.performancebikes.co.za/ We're busying testing the FUNN Fatboy 35mm diameter bar and stem for a review. Should be out in the next couple of weeks, if you're interested.

  22. Mountain bike trails, many of us live for these sculptured tracks of dirt. But where do they come from? Who's building them? And why don't we know? While I won't be going into why many South African mountain bikers can't answer these fundamental questions, I will be pointing out who's responsible for the most recent modifications to the Rhodes Memorial single track on Table Mountain. 23. Cyclist safety is a serious concern, especially when on the road. Many road cyclists and commuters have at least one story about their dance with death.
