  1. Sure, send me a DM
  2. Same experience with TICKR, now on my third, two replaced under warranty within one year. Great support from iKhambi, btw. I suspect the issue is moisture (sweat) ingress through the battery door. It also doesn't help that the hooks on the battery door breaks off like nothing. Ive taped over the door of the last one...will see how it goes. But probably won't buy another Tickr after this.
  3. Yep, indeed. One Ladies team included.
  4. Done this twice, both time were great fun. Cape Multisport Club will be there again on Sunday with 3 teams!
  5. Road or MTB? Typical pace? There are quite a few groups, so send me your number and I can add you tk a few groups
  6. Any thoughts on the Sigeyi power meters?
  7. Different experience here. 2x Tickrs died in one year. Both replaced under warranty by by iKhambi within days of logging the claim, so at least support is good. Failure mode seems to be sweat ingress at the battery cover which kills the electronics quick quick...corroded battery is one telltale sign. I'll be putting extra insulation tape over the battery cover this time round and hold thumbs, since my warranty period is now over.
  8. Thats sad to hear. I had the same with the Corsas. and the comments I've heard was that it was a specific batch and issues are sorted. Looks like I'll wait a bit longer to give them another shot. (Their service when ordering shirts were awesome though) I've ordered Castelli bibs when on special (55% off at the moment, btw) and have been happy so far.
  9. Or if you have peasant level budget, its 'old outdated' GX 😀
  10. Nope, you cant ride. And its a p.i.t.a update. 3.5GB for the game and then it downloads the maps all from scratch next time you open it. Bargain on hour plus. I keep an eye on their social page to know when update is released and then sign on the night before.
  11. Yep, agree. Its getting better with each release. The big main the the massive download with every update. Most of the bug I experienced was sorted. Its a great option for summer months when I pause zwift...but need an option for infrequent bad weather indoor rides, or something to do a workout on. I still use zwift in winter when getting up at 4 for early morning outside weekday rides becomes too painful, since most of my riding buddies also move over there

Anywhere we can get updates on Matt's progress?
  14. Huh, don't negotiate? The salesman can say yes or no. I also need to keep money in my pocket by looking for the best possible deal 🤷 .. and that goes for everything I buy, not just cars.
  15. Looks like Specialized's reponse to the Supercaliber...or am I missing something?
  16. Yep, self. 👌
  17. For what its worth I'm 187 and I have an XL
  18. Its hit and miss, but agree with Dexter, I'll keep giving it a shot...costs nothing. I really just use Zwift to do some structured workouts, so if I can save R300pm, why not. In the meantime I pay the R300 for Zwift, cause it sucks to get up at 4:30 for a workout, and ERG on MyWhoosh doesn't work and you basically get a z2 ride instead of the planned VO2max workout. Latest update sounds promising though...and my Zwift subs ends soon, so will try again next week
  19. Yep, that's gold. Also witnessed a lot of that. Just rolled my eyes and returned to enjoying the views.
  20. Hey @Morne, agree that the bunches can be sketchy, but Im not sure I agree with stopping at a crash...it feels bad to roll past, but imagine another 10/20 guys in the bunch slamming on brakes to go try and help...it will cause much more chaos. I really feel the safer thing to do is clear the road as quick as possible to those behind can also pass the accident safely. And then trust that the organizers medical support is going to take care of the incident professionally. My 2c, maybe Im wrong 🤷
  21. Well, I went 34 first, since my next races had some steep stuff (Tankwa Trek), plus the chain that came with the new bike would be too short for a 36. The plan is to go 36 once I need to replace the groupset in a year or so, since I can then match the replacement chain to the 36...and still have a 34 for those steep rides. Its the 120mm, yes Sorry I cant help more at this stage
  22. No experience with Rapide, but Lyne support is absolutely awesome. I had issues with a bad batch of Pulse rims cracking and they went above to sort me out at no cost.
  23. Flip, you had me on the refresh button now!
