  1. Cycling alone is also very dangerous. Safety in numbers. Speedy recovery
  2. Zwift works best with a smart trainer. I have find the Tacx Vortex trainer and this would be considered the baseline for an entry level smart trainer. I find the Vortex good value for money and it works. I previously had a Giant indoor trainer and for me i got quickly bored of it.
  3. I haven't been yet. Planning on going tomorrow. I was hoping it was going to change from last year. I guess it never live up to standards like at the Good Hope Center.
  4. Easton EA90 SLX is a good all round wheel especially with the Echo hubs.
  5. if anbody is interested i'm selling my coffee machine. Makes awesome coffee but the GF would prefer something a bit easier. http://www.gumtree.co.za/a-other-electronics/brackenfell/breville-bes860-espresso-machine-bean-to-cup/1001476569200910189145809

  10. For the Western Cape guys the products at Bridge Cycles and Olympic Cycles. If all fails give Ominco a call to find where you can get it from.
  11. I use a Garmin 510 which has an feature called Live Track. The Garmin 810 and 1000 has this feature as well.
  12. With all the predictions nobody expected this! LOL This event is going to have a major cash injection now. They can at least use that cash and give some back to the people who entered like give everybody a PPA Stay Wider Cycle top.
  13. Article on IOL http://www.iol.co.za/sport/cycling/cycle-tour-disrupted-by-fire-1.1827185#.VPf7-fmUd8E
  14. If you in the Cape Town area i would recommend you get check Olympic Cycles.
  15. Having done a bit of car detailing i was shocked to see the pricing of shampoo's, cleaning equipment for bikes. You can use any form of All Purpose Cleaner to clean your chain or bike and it will work. My recommendation is that you don't dilute it for your chain. 1/4 ratio for your body. Green clean, Shield Blade, etc etc all do the same thing. My only recommendation is if you going to use this on your paint work is that you use some sort of polish afterwards to keep the shine (liquid polish, quick detailer spray, etc etc)
  16. Compound is too remove contaminates and marks from paint. Polish will bring out the natural shine. Wax is to protect your paint and also provide a shine.
  17. I went back and forth for about a year on the coffee machine I wanted to purchased. End of the day it depends on your budget and what you want from a machine. For me I wanted something long term that would offer the best coffee extraction I can get. The Nespresso is great as it's easy to use/clean and offer great variety but becomes expensive long term due to the costs of the pods. The bean to cup machine also a great option but from the machines we had in the office they became high maintenance if you want consistently good coffee. So a year later I got me the Breville BES860 Eespresso machine from at Home. Costs R5600. Took me about 2 weeks to master the skill and get the right settings. I'm very very happy with my purchase especially now that i'm the Red Espresso buzz which none of the other machines can do. I buy small batches of recently freshly roasted beans from my local coffee shop so now you don't find me that often at Seattle coffee.
