  1. I got my wife a Garmin Forerunner 210, basic watch with HRM and it has an optional bike mount for R2600. This is very easy to use
  2. I have had nothing but a good experience with Evans. Also made an order, and arrived within in 3 days with out paying for express delivery
  3. My partner and I said the same thing while we were doing day 2 this year

    94.7 Seeding Events

I also saw the PDF had a list of 2012 races, so I emailed the race office about a specific race being a seeding eventt and two days later I am still waitinf for a reply.

  6. Hi All Thanks for all the advice. I have made an an appointment and will let you know
  7. Hi all. I am looking for a good sport cardiologist in the JHB area, I have some questions about my ticker while I am cycling. I have this problem of my heart spiking up to 180/190 bpm. On day 1 of Sani this happened about 10 times and for the following days I had no issues Thanks
  8. Ride 1.5 from the most left cyclist and let all the others take the knock
  9. Two of my friends have got Anthems, and both had theirs crack at the seatchub and cross bar, one way to ensure you get a new bike from time to time
  10. A Sunblock sponsor halfway in the race, so we can reapply Discourage the 2nd lap, I saw many accidents where the 2 lappers colided with riders in group BB-?? and the unseeded groups. Its unfair on the riders in the latest batches to have their day spoilt, the guys doing the 2 lappers have already had their turn. and also include SAS seeding as part of the seeding for MTB's
  11. Hi all. Where do you get you Mineral Brake oil from. Been to my LBS, nothing. Went to 2 Midas stores in Randburg and only sell Dot, had a brief argument with the guy behind the counter who claims you only get the DOT varients.
  12. sounds like you Capetonians have issues
  13. Just a little rant. On Saturday afternoon my wife and a friend went for a ride down the Braamfontein Spruit and had a puncture and then experienced problems with the spare tubes valve. No fellow cyclist even bothered to stop to offer any assistance. One guy made a feeble attempt by asking if help was needed while he whizzed by, which he clearly would not have heard any answer, maybe he felt he could sleep peacefully cause he had asked. Is everybody just to involved in their own ride that they dont wont to help or are they too scared that they might not be able to fix something and the two women would think less of them
  14. I think the Argus is overated, last did it in 1997 (1 and only)
  15. I have tried to enter and the process just does not complete. It says you will reveive a registration email to continue to enter. After 2 hours still waiting for an email, so I called the Cycle Challenge Race office to see what was up. Explained to them and they could not help me and was told to call back on Monday cause the are busy with the 702 Walk the Talk
  16. Ill check for any cracks on the frame
  17. name and shame
  18. It has been on the shelves since the weekend
  19. Is anybody else having issues getting the Feb 2012 issue of Ride Mag via Zinio
  20. We did this race on Saturday and the pre-enties done online with Entrytime were made to stand in a queque for 30 mins and those that entered on the day were in out in minutes. All we had to recieve was a seeding sticker and a banner for our SAS seeding boards.
  21. I used to go to FPC, also gave up on them cause of bad service. Never been back in 3 years, lots of other places that like my money
  22. I bought it new
  23. I had a GT Marathon that I tried to do Sani in, all my training for Sani I had a creak, I put on a new BB, service the pedals, oild my seatpost, ensured the saddle bolts where tight, and on day 2 of Sani I found the problem. I managed to crack the frame and split the frame in two by the headset/crossbar. I have now learnt, if it creaks there could be a very fine crack that will get bigger.
