Yep it is a sport. Currently the Ringtennis world champs is underway in Koblensk, Germany. There are nine countries present including a Protea team from South Africa. The results for S A were very good so far. One of our Ladies at the age of 16 won the Senior ladies singles world title as well as the Lasies Doubles. SA also won a silver and 2 bronze medals in the other doubles competitions. In the team competion SA wil play in the final against Germany, so quaranteed of at least a silver there as well. Grumpyoldguy. Don't you need a plan first before you want to calculate the cost. So first decide how and where you want to do it. Then calculate the expected cost based on that. You can't work out a financial plan if you don't know what you want to do. As example: I want to extent on my house. I first need to decide what I want to do before I can get a builder for a quote, not true?

O and what you can do is to incorporate mass one day events on the weekends. Once the main race started you can have the mass event starting on the same route.

Well there is a few ways to go about it. Get towns and provinces to bid for the oppertunity to host stages. That will put the onus on the local autorities to make sure the roads are pothole free and safe. So if the local council endorses a stage they are responsible for the roads traffic control, safety and emergency services. Involved all clubs. So a club or combination of clubs will arrange a certain stage like they do now with the normal races. Thereby you use excisting expertise. This can also help with sponsorship as each club can help to get a different sponsor on board. You maybe start around this time of year and take the route via the Northern Cape for a few stages where it can be long, flat and hard on the soul. So start in Cape Town Go up the west coast and then via say Springbok, Upington, Kimberly, Bloem up via Gauteng Via the Graskop area pat Pongola and finish say in Durban.

Well the foto were taken by one of the shop assistants. Which is a cyclist and not a model agent. He were told to take a foto of the next non white lady in the new section. Probably the first any of them knew that she is a celeb is when she started complaining about the ad. If the foto is of sub standard features probably no one will recognise her in the ad and that might be her actual problem.

Ok. My opinion. This was a hit and not a farm murder due to a wage dispute. The killers phoned the police to collect them after a task successfull completed.

Outsurance cover in competition as well. Had a claim on my car paid out today no hassles. I think all insurance companies now cover bikes in competion as well as they know that it became a big business.

If the Argus is on the 11th or 15th of March we will have good weather. Go look back at the previous dates and you will find that is the perfect dates for the Argus.

Ask SARS to do an AUDIT on the Argus financials. If the prize money for winning this race were say R 100 000 then maybe there would have been more international riders. With the Comrades the moment they increased the price money they started to get more top international runners. And the sad part of this is that Lance probably got more as an appearance fee as what the total pricemoney for the winners were.

The thing is insurance will probably replace the frame. But what about all the lost expenses and not being able to ride. Maybe get a lawer to send them a letter to claim the lost becuase of this. Get some newspapers to publish the fotos and sad story.(Sell you story to You/Huisgenoot).

I got the impression that Mr Carlisle the MEC from WC were really upset about it and might do a lot to improve our safety. I'm not interested in the World cup at all. The reason being I've never been interested in soccer. And I have also not attended one game of the rugby or cricket world cups. So it is not being negative about the Soccer World Cup. What I however would have liked if there were any tours to this new stadiums to go and have a look inside as they all loo awesome. I hope maintenance will be good at these stadiums to keep them in good shape for years to come.
