The 94.7 mag actually say that if a rider is doing his tenth ride or more he will get a yellow number.

In the race mag there is a part that say you get a yellow number from your 10th 94.7 onwards. This year will be my tenth and I got a normal white number. Does this mean they missing some of my races on their records? According to winningtime/Racetec I have completed 9 already.

Kamakazi, maybe that little cardboard trick on the frame into the spoke that you can make a constant noise. Then the pedestrians and dogs will know there is an @ssh0le on the way.

Synergy This is the best comment on this thread so far. Maybe the cyclists and residents should stop threatining each other and stop the name calling. They can then start working together to find a solution and start putting presure on the authorities to sort the problem.

This will be my tenth in a row. And tomorrow will be cycling for 10 years. In 2000 I got on a bike for the first time in 15 years on the Wednesday before the race.

They are definately behaving badly. A pro team and they riding slowly and are chatting. They should be speeding.

Good luck in the recovery to all that got injured. I think it is in instances like this where CSA should step in. They are afterall the governing body. Maybe issue a hefty fine to the orginizers or the timing company or both even. Or suspend the timing company say for 6 months. Or be even harsher and not allow this organizers to stage a race for say 3 years. Some how the organizers must be forced to look after the safety of the riders.

Is there a way to export a garmin file to say word or excel to be viewed by someone not using the Garmin software? Or is the only way to display it and do a screenprint and the paste it in paint? Thanks Ian

Wendell Are the group rides you planning MTB? Will that be at a level where beginners caan join? Singel track and Gravel road?

Firstly it can't be the pedals as I swapped it out with the ones on my Tandem and used different shoes and still get the sound. It is there even when I stand so that would exclude the seatpost. I also checked the clearance between crank and front derailer that is fine. Got a new chain on so that is fine. Might be the head set. But I think this all point to the BB as when I'm spinning the sound is mostly gone. It is when you put a bit more power on like when climbing where the sound increases. It is as if I feel it on the pedal.

According to the me the race organizers keep on increasing the entry fee for the following reasons. Higher entry fee = reduced numbers = less organizing = higher profit. Look at the follwing. Say the 94.7 50% increse in entry fee cause a drop of 20% entries. But still a 20% in income therefor a higher profit margin. 10015025000200002,500,000.003,000,000.00

Bored Girl you going to do Knysna this year? I think the entries are reasonable. Any way the race is during school holidays. Stay there for a week or two and enjoy the area. And the Oysters. Last year we stayed for a week in Mosselbay and did the race. Would have done it again this year but due to changing jobs caan't get leave. Will be back next year.

Maybe they should lay a charge of theft against the organizers. The Marshall acknowledged that the bike were loaded in the recovery vehicle. So there is proof that the bike was taken from him. Do they have proof that they had ermission to take his bike away from him.
