  1. I see the Wallabies now want Jake White as their new coach.
  2. And this is also the time the 94.7 takes place???/
  3. I'll do it. But then probably only hubbers and Wheelers riders will be in the team. Sorry removed the names as I realized I left out to many others IanC2007-08-30 02:11:21
  4. Kona I agree. First select the team and then realize that you don't have the results/selection criteria/co-selectors contact details? Secondly, selectors select a team but the chairman has to endorse the team. How does the chairman endorse the team if all the selectors signatures are not on the selection sheet? and why didn't they raise the concerns with the chairman at that point? This is also a bad reflection on the chairman.
  5. Fair comment. Like I said before its a thankless job. But' date=' If you do take on the responsibility of the job, DO IT RIGHT.[/quote'] Maybe the selectors don't get paid but don't CSA/race organizers cover their cost when they do go to races? Chunky I agree with you. If you can't to something like this properly don't accept the post. I were asked to be a selector for another sport end of last year but declined it as I were not able to get to most of the matches due to work commitment. Maybe the Sports commision must place CSA under administration if it carries on like this.
  6. Interesting question. Now that they realized they stuffed up big time, will they select 6 ladies and will it include the original ladies picked as well as Ronel. If they leave any of the carrent selected ladies out of the team it will be unfair to them. And if they decide now to include Ronel in the team will she be available to go? Ronel would you form part of a new team?
  7. Racing heart, the reverse of your argument might be true as well. If there is more price money for the ladies there might be more of them taking part. Currently the juniour, elite and veteran ladies race in on category competing for the same price money. If there is price money for each of these categories then more of the ladies riding in the open categories might be tempted to ride licenced.
  8. They must give them the same prize money and give them a 20 minute window to finish in behind the winning men's time. For every 5 minutes they they are outside that window' date=' the prize money drops 10%. That way they will be forced to race. Okay, I'll get my coat. [/quote'] Mampara if you apply that at the Lost City the Ladies would have got 90% of the price money as the were 30 minutes if the men's time. And the did not even get close to that. Also, normally the elite price money go to tenth, even the juniors went to 5th at Lost City and the ladies only get price money for the first three.
  9. Mrs Colonel It sounded to me taht she did try the silent politics but it did not work and now went over to being agressive.
  10. Another thing that Chilli pepper mentioned after the Lost City race was that there was price money for the Mens and mixed tandems but not ladies tandems. Then organizers still wonders why the ladies bunches are so small. Maybe the riders in the men's licnece categories must "strike" to assist the ladies to get bigger price money.
  11. Wat ook uitgekom het is dat sy die vrae omtrent prysgeld aan CSA gestel het en hulle haar toe na die organiseerders verwys het. Die borge het toe blykbaar die saak met CSA opgevat...
  12. Het so stukkie gesien.
  13. Scotty isn't the rear derailer I got from you a 10 spd derailer? I'm using it on 9spd and it work fine.
  14. Crux wou dieselfde vraag vra. Wat interesant is, is dat elke kategorie een minder ryer het as wat toe gelaat word. Wonder hoekom dit is?
  15. Never done the detour either. Those that done both, which one is easier? Anyone got a profile of the detour?
  16. Sheldon The age gives an indication of sizes needed.
  17. Sheldon What is the ages of these children and from where are they?
  18. Chucky will Shaunh's cycle awareness signs class as charity as well...?
  19. Again well done Cherise. Maybe you or the TCS people that were at the airport can post some fotos with that goth look for those of us that didn't see you yet. Will prevent the shock before the start of the race on Saturday. Hope we will see you there.
  20. Speke do you plan more of these races?
  21. Nice bike. How many bikes you own now Crux?
  22. Wasn't there some discussions between BW management and some Discovery riders as well? That might be an indication that this will happen.
  23. Well their aim is 2009 similar to what Barlow world had. And they got 3 riders that done the TDF before that would sign for the team. Difference is that it sounds they want to make it an all Aus team and not a Aus team with European riders. And with the teams that were kicked of the TDF and other sponsorships coming to an end they might get to the Tour.
