A bit of useless info this is the amount of food eaten in JHB at the hotel they were staying. I have them tommorrow and friday. Got Daryl Impey and Malcom Lange and a few more here Also have all the contact details to all the big bosses of the tour for anyone that wants to send them a nasty mail or good mail We used these amount of food just for one evening Dinner. 10kg Parmesan cheese(grated from block) 58 x 500g Spaghetti 36 x 500g Panne pasta 50 kg of fine beef mice 4 x 6 x A10 Italian peeled tomato 8 chafing dishes(GN size) beef lasagna 4 chafing dishes vegetables lasagna 10 kg mushroom 15kg chicken breast(for sauce) 200 freshly baked faccacia bread 6 chaffing bread and butter pudding 15 lt custard sauce 20kg fruit salad 100 Assorted mini pastries Hungry boys

The way I see it if it happens is we get a few hubbers in each area that are willing to go and visit the shop. Sometimes to buy even if its just a tube and sometimes to browse etc .We draw up a list of items that we all look for in a LBS service attudie price etc and it gets marked as such. wont be a quick thing will take a few months etc Any shop that you can be nominated, maybe have a sperate one for online shops so CWC,Evans, CRC and others can be put against each other. Maybe Admin would sponser a banner to sayLBS of the year as voted by Hubbers. They do it for golf courses, hotels resturants etc.

There are no rules as it was a question.Would it be a good idea to try get the bike shops more jacked seeing as the hub is full of guys complaining about service If all we wanted to do was buy parts then CRC would win hands down. But what about when you want to buy a new bike get it serviced for the guys that dont want to?

Online shops wouldn't count as they not really LBS where you could walk into browse and get advice. I know its a long shot but if enough hubbers got involved maybe 1 or 2 of the shops would wake up and see what service is and what we want for our local LBS

Why don't we run a comp on the hub for the best LBS of the year. We nominate a few LBS's then over the year we try do mystery shoppers etc to the shops and the one that comes out tops gets a Hubbers LBS of the year Plaque. If its OK with Admin Maybe after a while a few shops will catch awake up to whats we are looking for in a shop?

One thing I dont understand with this whole 2 aside 3 aside argument is that if it was a slower car/ truck buss in the lane, you would still have to wait to overtake? If it was a donkey car like we have on Koeberg road then you are just as stuffed. I'm Or are we in such a rush to get somewhere we believe no one else should be on the road?

There is more to CT than just the Riding , but Tokai would be a good port of call to start with.It has everything from pure distance grade (up to the mast ) and then the single track Easy to do a 40+ km ride there. Prices can be on the bad side but CRC is just a few days away

Nice report What software are you using to shrink the file adn keep the quality? I have a gopro and looking for a way to shrink the file but still keep the quality Heres mine from tokai after using windows movie maker http://www.facebook.com/#!/video/video.php?v=495455591460 doesn't do the camera justice

To all the guys riding on the cycle lane. A word of caution. seems like some bugger has shaken a load of thorns all over the cycle path juts down from the woodbridge turn off. The area across from the school. I just pulled 12 thorns out of my front tire alone. Looks like someone has done it on purpose. I swept as many as i could off the lane.
