  1. Thanks man Working up in the property investments floor. SCCM (it) stuff. Know anyone that cycles here so I can chat to them about logistics? Also will the bike be safe in the bike park and is there anywhere that I could leave some clothes for the week? Cool, thanks man!
  2. I have just started at old mutual pinelands (contracting) But should be here for a little while. Would love to carry on being able to commute though. Does anyone know anyone that commutes here? How do they do it? Where to put the bike? Shower?
  3. These clips are so funny! Really worth a watch. This one is probably the closest to reality though. http://videos.howstuffworks.com/science/10-ways-the-world-will-end-videos-playlist.htm#video-30693
  4. No man, I was meant to post the virus one http://videos.howstuffworks.com/science/10-ways-the-world-will-end-videos-playlist.htm#video-30568
  5. What a funny video. Then it becomes a bit sad. http://videos.howstuffworks.com/science/10-ways-the-world-will-end-videos-playlist.htm#video-30635
  6. Those veins are siff, siff.
  7. Oh, (relief) for a second there, I thought that you were talking about my commute to work....
  8. I think a "beastly" shock will work better. We get a chip implanted into our heads or wrists and if the signals dont match up to the chip in the bike then it sends out a nice "beastly" taser into the riders nuts.
  9. Most of it is guessing. But there is lots of things that there is no clear answer how it was made.
  10. ok good stuff.
  11. Well now you have. Or are you just trying to get a free post in here? mmmm..... moderators.....
  12. I dont know? Little scared to think about the possibilities. I know that we will have a final judgement and that will decide on where we end up. Where are they right now? Who knows? Roaming the earth, haunting us, I doubt it I am pretty convinced that all the "ghost sightings" and paranormal activities are actually just demons and plights by the devil to keep the world scared of things. Ultimately the more distractions he can have here, the better because it gives us less time to have a chance to get to know God. Something else really wacky though. God is out of time. IE, he is in the 4th dimension while we are in the 3rd? So God is out of time looking at the whole time line of creation till the end all at once. Which technically means that once you die, we may indeed go to his dimension where we are judged at the end of time (because we go out of time so to speak) and we could end up going to heaven or hell, even though it may be 1 million earth years away still. So yes, maybe we are judged in a million years, but in a timeless system it will happen immediately. I suppose we will only know oneday when we die. One thing I cant wait for is when I die is to find out how the pyramids, stonehedge, noahs flood and all those wack things happened.
  13. mmm... Your assumption of hell disappearing one day is a scary assumption. Hell was designed as an eternal prison for satan and his angels. While they are free to roam the earth presently the punishment for them turning their backs on God is going to be very real. When or how they are going to land up in hell with all the naughty boys from earth, I dont know. But you can be pretty sure that it is going to be pretty much forever.
  14. Well you'd better! Else I may not consider joining in.....

Haha. Funny how looking at company slogans how they can mean so much more Michelin - The more we progress, the better you advance. Nike - Just do it BP - We like to keep you moving

Sorry, not for me mate. Throw tube away after every puncture is not worth it. Also I have heard that latex tubes often dont go down gracefully like a slow butel puncture does. (Latex will tear like a balloon under pressure) BANG and you on the rim trying to stay upright. No thanks. And you are sticking them in your MTB? Dude. Tubeless.

Personally I had a heart attack when tubes jumped from R20 to R50 overnight. So for me even R40 sounds too much for something that I need to sometimes just chuck away.

Didnt you used to preach about how nice and small the expensive ones are in your pocket?

There was a writeup here the other day. Im too lazy to do a search. But basically you can reduce your rolling resistance by up to 10% kind of thing. Then JB came in and burst our massive over excited bubble and he said when you look at the bigger picture and you add everything up, you are only saving 0.025 percent or something stupid. So maybe over 100km you will be a few seconds faster. If you have the money spare, buy them because they are also smaller in your back pocket. But if you are tight for cash, stick to the big old heavies.
  21. Yep. Ill do anything to keep my cycling shoes alive. For price of those babies, I want to get some extended life from them. Brakes my heart to see how messed up the carbon is underneath. But I suppose I could recover it with epoxy if I wanted to.
  22. True, I those poor buggers always seem to get all the bad stuff first.
  23. your chainrings are the same size, so you will be fine there. Just a new chain and cassette + shifters. Are you staying on the same layout in front 2 or 3 chainrings as before?
  24. Try ride a bit faster mate. 0.001 is track standing. And I still cant do that after 4 years of riding.
