We had a motorcyclist passing us at one stage giving us the middle finger for no reason. This was on a dual road and everyone in the bunch were to the left of the white line. Idiot

The race organization was not to bad. One complain from my wife. There was no water at the water points. It should be called something else. She cannot drink Coke and Powerade due to sugar levels. Ironnically there was only water at the finish in a powerade trailor/tank. Surely they could have provided water at the waterpoints on a hot day like today. Ok I suppose they cannot please everybody. Just a thought

I had my fitment done on my previous bike. I had to finetune it myself (height of saddle). I used my old bikes settings to set up my new bike. No probs on it Ummm, is it worth it. I still think so.

Now this is something different for a change. Not a complaint but something positive

I was on my way to Bakwena race this morning when I got caught up behind a bunch ride in Kempton this morning. Bunch of plus/minus 20 with a Merc blocking the cars behind them. It was on a slight uphill and they could only manage 18km/h. Solid line and cyclist taking up the whole lane and the guy in the Merc looking back in his mirror the whole time I was behind him, but did not make way for the cars piling up behind me. Must have been a club ride from Kempton. Selfish bunch Thanks, now I feel better. I train on my own. I do not want to be associated with these arrogant cyclists not abiding by the rules of the road.

I went to Dischem at Eastrand Mall. No stock. Asked the salesman and was told that Wasp is not popular and they are not keen to stock it. It takes up shelf space.

No more tactics from the car. This will be very interesting

Correction Hey now dont be nasty with us in the B group. Our speed was to high to turn right so we went straight. After that we negotiated with the marshall for a shorter race. After all we were on our own and couldnt wheel suck any other groups. Maybe I'm envious B bunch should count their lucky stars for not having to negotiate the potholes in that corner! (I was in a group of 6' date=' and we gave the marshals a fright... ignoring the potholes and all!)[/quote'] I was fortunate to be in the leading B bunch. The marshall told us we were on the wrong route. The second bunch were not so lucky and apparently only turned 60 - 65mk's into the race when they realized something was wrong.
