How can you say that about the venue. I have done many races from this venue and this is the first accident that I know of. I always enjoy the races from this venue eventhough there are no timing and due to the low entry fee compared to other races. I have never felt unsafe on the various routes the organisers use from this venue. A friend of mine got taken out by a caravan in front of me(thankfully not serious). The driver came back from holiday, was tired from driving and forgot that the caravan is wider than his car. Accident. Cant blame organisers for that

Crazy if you ask me, but hey, who am I to comment. If you do go ahead with this crazy ride, enjoy and have lots of fun

I bought my wife a new Merida before the Argus. I ride a Giant TCR but I must say, the Meridas are good value for money. I was suprised how little these alu frames weighed. My wife is very happy with her Merida.

And so the CAT3 bunch this time caught the A bunch Thanks for a very well organized race. Eish that uphill drag back to the finish line from where we joined the short route, got the better of me today BUT still managed to do beat my previous PB by 18 minutes

No problem with the organization in our social group. Was seeded in the CL group but rode with friends in EL. Pace was hectic but no incidents and thanks to the guy on the motorcycle. Eventhough some cyclist at some stage crossed the white line, he was totally in control and no shouting to get back. (situation was not dangerous I must say) Must say I fail to understand why people ride licenced when they get caught by the EL group before SBR. Waste of money if you ask me. We passed a few C3 and C4 riders.

I have been using my thule for about 5 years. I have become used to the bikes rocking in the rear view mirror. I have not had any damage to any of my bikes. I have a 3 rack carrier.

The same question again. Was the race 99km. My computer shows it as 104km

I knew something was wrong. Our bunch must have done the wrong route. Our route had continuous rolling hills, more ups than downs. Trust me, for us social riders this race was much tougher than the previous route.

Never even got to a parking area with mud. We were diverted down a side road to park in. Parked, rushed to get ready to go to the start. looked for the official to give directions to where the start was but he had disapeared. Had to guess which way to go. Looked like the Dakar rally with cyclist going in both directions LOL. Fortunately went in the right direction just to get to the chaos at the start. Bunches were mixed due to bad, very bad parking arrangements. Please organisers, tell us if the parking is a problem. I allowed a hour to park get ready and get to the start. Needless to say I was late. The organisation on the route was good My wife only complained that 2 waterpoints in the heat wasnt enough. AND NO WATER AT THE FINISH. Think of the diabetics aswell please. WOW Times are up already Amazing Racetec
