Saturday afternoon spin up Tokai... When ascending, I usually just head up the jeep track passed Lizard to then go up Boulder and seldom go right at Vasbyt towards the Snake Trails, but I headed that way this time and found the single track they build that climbs up alongside the jeep track to between Boomslang and Snake Eyes! Very lekker! Good job, Tokai MTB!

First actual ride (as opposed to stationary bike) since the end of Feb... Good just to be out and about on a borrowed bike while mine has some fairly major repairs and servicing done....

Silver is nice because you can see the details of the engine, whereas with the black everything just blends together. For me, that's the cool thing about old/naked bikes is you can see all the working bits... But what about silver with a black head and clutch cover? (And a vote for the red frame from me...)

!Khwa ttu trails are in great shape. Well sign posted. No cost to ride. Nothing hectic or hugely technical, but just a nice ride out in nature. Lots of little wildlife scurrying in the undergrowth, a few bontebok and loads of kites circling above. For a 10km loop, i wouldn't drive all the way from Cape Town to do just this, but if you're in the area, it's definitely worth the ride.

It's a scam, don't do it! You get nothing for free or R1 on Temu. You have to order other stuff to get the deal, and the other stuff is off a limited list that you probably don't really want AND the items are priced are higher than normal... yeah, the spin the wheel thing is just so cheesy and annoying. You should be able to just exit it without spinning though...

Thanks for the link to the trail maps, I was looking on their website but couldn't find anything. Was planning on trying there... rode there years ago.

Yes, I've returned an item that didn't fit. They send the courier to collect it and shortly afterwards I had a credit. I also cancelled an entire order. Few days later the money was back in my account. I was quite impressed with how efficient it was.
