Banhoek on Saturday morning... First ride in two months after spraining my ankle. Probably should have tried something a little easier as a first ride back. Coughed up a lung, ankle was ok until had to put a foot down cos I was falling over I was going so slowly. Pretty knackered by the end. But the grin the single track produced and the banter with the cycling buddies made it worthwhile!

Grew up watching F1 in the late 80's and 90's so, when I saw Lego introduce this set, it went to the top of my wish list. Then I saw it for 30% off on Import a Toy and it was a no-brainer... PS, it's still on special (if you need a reason to justify the purchase to your other half #justsaying 😉) Love touch of the Brazilian flag colours in unseen areas...

Lol, I have a car cigarette lighter in the form of a big red button with the words FIRE MISSILE on its way with my current order! 😄🤦‍♂️ Did get some cycling niknaks - clips to hold cables together, value caps, and presta to schrader valve adaptors

Until you start telling them about flat sided stanchions and needle bearings, then their eyes glaze over... 🤣

Gave it a try... Order arrived today, after ordering on the 9th. Only cycling related item were some gloves... I'm usually a large, so order XL - they're an odd fit. Fingers fit snuggly but the thumbs are quite large? And the left thumb is slightly larger than right... But for R200, I wasn't expecting too much... I'd probably rather spend the extra next time and buy one of the brands I've had previously where I know the size or from a store that I can try on... The rest of items look and work great - Got a wireless speaker, MX socks and googles, USB cable etc...
