  1. Wish i could join
  2. Realy sick to think someone can do something like this.
  3. Well so far they have approached it nonchalant, only arriving in the UK for their 1st game late this week, plagued with injuries i think each game is going to be tough for them.
  4. Not quite, i reckon i fall into the lotsa money category and I dont shop round everytime i need a small item it would be stupid. @Work i have Cycle Fountain, Cyclelab, Cajees, Solomons all on or slightly off my route to and from work. @Home i have TDF, Cajees, Saint Sports, Sportmans warehouse, and soon a Cyclelab all with 5 k's of me. I browse around these shops regulary so I know the prices of items and they all vary. Why must i pay R50 for a tube when i can get it for R30 ??. This way i am able to support good causes such as Frails or Choc.
  5. Huh ?? Why not, i do. Even a small purchase item such as a tube i will buy where its cheaper.
  6. Probably chinese knock off, like buying a rolux watch or Pentux camera, or they could just have difficulty in pronouncing their R's
  7. While Burry does prefer MTB he rides plenty on the road and has achieved results on the road other elite roadies can be envious of, so much so that now more roadies are getting into MTB'ing.
  8. I got mine from Tour de Frans in Boksburg.
  9. Delphi Blackburn also make good value units, you should get the 5 for under R1000 which has HR and wired cadence.
  10. 7 out of 10, fail with 2,4,5, i doubt anyone will get 10/10.
  11. Ordered a couple of times, often join others ordering to keep costs low, last order i bought Easton wheels at a price significantly better than anywhere in SA. I found them prompt to reply to queries and between them and the local Buycycle site i get most of my cycle stuff.
  12. Its cool, now do me a favor, I'm somewhat of a fussy gardener and i notice from one of the pics theres a weed coming out between the paving which needs to be removed
  13. Mmmm i gave up waiting for your promise that you would contact me when you had run out of stock. No problem though, i went to our local Solomons and got it cheaper
  14. Ignore the negatives Kieran, looks stunning.
  15. Cool no more "qualifying" to ride in vets by buying a lic just so you can have an early start time, but still being passed and then struggling to hold onto the wheel of blue rinse grannies with shopping basket bikes.
  16. You're in a minefield for choice, hardtail vs dual suspension then still further categorised 26 vs 29. There are some bike shops that have demo bikes or if you have mates with MTB's try theirs out.
  17. Ive used Garmin 305 and 705 and found them more accurate than my Polar 520 also my polar strap regularly lost contact which was frustrating.
  18. Cant argue with this.
  19. A rolled up newspaper and tap on your neigbours nose while repeating NO out loud should do the trick, after that he'll keep his dog locked up.
  20. Not sure this is a good idea, having only 1 timing company will dilute competition, my gripe is that racetec are already displaying anti competitve behaviour by getting race orgs to use only their chips for seeding in Argus/94.7 races.
  21. We rode out to kyalami on Sat and did part 94.7 route, saw plenty of cyclists.
  22. Liions have a natural fear of humans, once they lose it they become more extremely dangerous.
  23. Go Lance
  24. Appears more to be a cool look thing then, how much quicker will your time be if you dont have a saddle bag?
