  1. Would have started running barefoot long ago if it didn't give you leather feet. Call me a softie
  2. Still deciding between KSO and Bikila for my next buy. KSO may be better for the trails, but it's my road shoes that are more worn out and I think the Bikila will be a better hybrid.
  3. Thanks for all the info. At the moment it feels normal when I rub my finger over it.
  4. Can't quite remember how deep the pain goes, but red marks the spot
  5. Inside of my left knee. I can easily do a 3h ride or so. With a tempo ride I can start to feel the pain a bit. In the beginning I couldn't cycle for 5km's and I also felt pain when I put my foot on the clutch while driving.
  6. There is a medical condition where the person is always hungry. I think I may have a mild case of that. I eat 7+ meals a day. Diet is high in fibre I eat a big breakfast Diet high in mono unsaturated fats Drink lots of water Eat immediatly after waking up But I'm hungry all the time. I can count on my one hand how many times I've gone without something to eat for more than 6h in the past year.
  7. So I have this knee pain whenever I put to much pressure on it while riding. (since October) I can run technical trails easily, but on the bike I have to take it easy. Do I go to a physio or a biokineticus? What's the difference? Source of the injury may be bike setup, but I've been riding the same setup since April on both mtb and roadbike. I think it's overuse, 'cause I got the injury on the 3rd day of Isuzu 3 Towers for which I wasn't well prepared.
  8. MJ, have been using a xt casette flawlessly on my sram stuff.
  9. Don't need to work out my daily need. (I'm not a calorie counter ) My question is if I my body will actually digest or consume all those calories. (Will I actually have to burn that extra 7500kj to break even for the day, or will my body maybe only consume 5000kj for example and the rest will go out as waste)
  10. I am actually, but from time to time I buzz out
  11. 2 slabs = 4400kj 2 slices of bread = 800kj 4 viennas = 800kj 2 handfulls of cheese = 400kj 1 packet of nick naks = 400kj 5 biscuits = 800kj coffee = 150kj Not exact amount, but somewhere in that region
  12. So I just ate 7300kJ as a late afternoon snack and wondering how much of that will be consumed by my body. Have been eating a little crazy the past few days. (easily 20000-25000 and more kj a day) and not training that hard. I am actually trying to lose weight
  13. Do long rides of more than 60km for races like argus
  14. I took the pic when the tube was born. SOmething every proud father does. THis is not of another tube, but seeing that the tube was found in Brazil and does not want to return because of bad breath, I guess the search is over
  15. I'll give you R80 and the old tyre in which I'll put it have 20% tread left to make up for the extra R40. It's a Vittoria Rubino foldable
  16. Ok, black carbon FSA seatpost. "FSA" was written in red. You'll recognise the the seatpost by black insulation tape just above where the post clamps to the frame. There's also some redish coloured carbon paste on the post.
  17. Just checked my policy. Seems like I have a R250 excess. Come to think about it, I may have lost the saddle as well. So if anyone see a white selle italia slr with a small tube fixed by white insulation tape, please let me know
  18. Pick as requested. As you can see, not your normal sized tube
  19. Had a steakroll from steers for breakfast. There might have been some dodgy substances in the steak.
  20. Doubt it will be in Bedfordview. The ride was after the rain. Here's a link to where I rode : Thursday cruise Also a link to the tube: Missing tube Reward? How 'bout a R50 tube with a patch included
  21. got my waterbottle yes. tubes was taped underneath saddle
  22. Went for a ride through PTA today and lost my spare tube. If someone picked up a very small 50g tube please let me know. Damn thing cost R100 from crc
  23. These bikes are truly awesome. Maestro travel system is doing a great job. And everything is blinged up with blue A problem we found is that these rims are very difficult to convert to tubeless. Or at least with the folding maxis crossmarks that come with the bike. Got them to mount after using road tubes. (LBS did this) Ended up buying bontrager tubeless ready tyres which was easy to mount ourselves.
  24. Will try this weekend. Could be something like that.
