  1. Send me your e-mail address I will send you a nice easy time based prog to follow - no rocket science degree required - as for equipment required see above from Pieter
  2. Not sure why there must be exceptions to the rules for people who don't prepare properly.
  3. In short to be able to claim for pothole damage the pothole in question must have already been reported to the council and not fixed within 7 days of such a report (I stand to correction on the time period) So in other words in order to lay a claim that will pay out you need to find out if the pot hole in question has been reported, if so has the time period lapsed, if so you have a claim if not you will not be paid out.
  4. Hi All, I recently purchased an MTB with hydraulic disk brakes. The front one feels great if I grab the lever I can feel the brake "bite" and stopping power is good and immediate. The rear one however feels like it is just "sliding" over the disk and has no real stopping power. In fact if I lean forward with my weight on the front wheel and pull the rear brake I cannot lock the wheel. Can anyone help with a possible cause and or fix?
  5. Nope couldn't have been this "guy", you need a dick to be able to w@nk, which is exactly why the chick claiming to be inpregnated is going to lose the case cause it is not possible for a girl to impregnate women.
  6. Timex Ironman, not sure though how you are going to get GPS in the water for distance and speed - don't think it is possible
  7. Go get a blood test done, test for sodium, zinc, iron all can cause you to be dizzy and have headaches if there is a deficiency. It is also common for athletes who train a lot to have a deficiency in all three of these elements.
  8. There is a swim specific shop at the Hill Crest swimming pool - only one I know of
  9. Not to worry found the site thanks
  10. Maybe got a number for Dianie webpage doesn't work - I'm also looking to have some club kit made
  11. Just some clarification here. The Pomona Road incident was in Kempton Park just past the bridge by the checkers. Riders were wearing blue and white kit and an ambulance was on the scene. There was another crash in Bapsfontein area yesterday where a rider was taken to hospital with head injuries. There was another crash out North yesterday where the rider is or was in ICU 3 separate incidents yesterday
  12. Hekpoort gradient is about the same as the big climb in the reserve you do in Race for Victory but is a much easier climb because of the flat route you take to get there. You should still be in pretty good condition by the time you get to hekpoort so no worries.
  13. Think RV might be a bit harder with the hills in the reserve. JSC only really has the 1 major climb. I remember last year the wind on the way back was a bit of a bitch.

    Help!

PVM for me, not the ones with the choc coating - although they are also starting to get a bit pricey these days
  15. Its supposedly bigger than a big store but probably the same size as a large store
  16. I'm the only Saint in the cycling industry
  17. You do the need the credit card details to do the refund not the actual physical card. From your original phone conversation and the way it is written if someone swears at me then they have lost all credibility no matter if I am wrong. I will also go out of my way to stuff you around if you cannot keep a civil tongue when dealing with what was apparently an honest mistake.
  18. For an accurate calorie count it is essential to have your correct weight input in your Garmin. Weight is what determines how fast you will burn calories. That figure is then multiplied by your time in order to give you a count.
  19. Got short term contract opportunities for a Desktop Support Technician as well as a Graphic/Web Designer - drop me a PM and I'll send you the details as well as requirements. Johannesburg East
  20. Got halfway through the blog and got bored. I don't have the time to debate with stupidity.
  21. My best from cattle grid to cattle grid has been 2:17 - I would think for a beginner anything under 3 hours would be good going. Your gear ratios are fine for Suikerbos
  22. Sun is at its peak by 12pm but hottest part of the day is 2pm - takes some time for those rays to heat up the earths surface - dude you will be well out the water before 40 mins and 1h30 mins on that bike course is not going to happen, I reckon you will be finished by 1pm - give it horns
  23. Water is apparently 18 so it will be your choice - I am not going to win this thing so transition is minor for me, I'll take the extra 30 seconds and wear my wetsuit
  24. No bud hottest part of the day is 2pm so unless you swim and bike really slow you should not be in the heat of the day. Just drink every water point and you will be fine. Bela Bela 5150 we started at 13:15 then you know what heat of the day is all about. I'm very happy for a 10am start. More worried that the forecast is for rain on Saturday and we all know what that does to the water quality of Germiston Lake.
