    At Dublin marathon last year.. The 3:10 bus caught up with me in the last 3 miles and I held on for dear life to try join them home... For 1.5 miles I ran behind the balloon guy who had somewhere on route had an accident and now there was a long dried crusty streak running down his leg.... That's commitment to the bus!

    You're not a runner until you've had to stop mid run. I try to before every run If I get the real urge during a run I will stop and put my glutes to the test and give a good squueze.... Usually does the job.... If that doesn't work... Into the field In SA you can always pop into a petrol station.... Make sure there's at least one on your route

    I think a lot of them were either clueless.. Or downgraded to a shorter distance and didn't change their entered distance It's lekker to have your name in a Comrades result sheet

    It drives me nuts. That chap that I reported really pissed me off at the time. I even had a discussion with him on Facebook and he just brushed it off. I couldn't even run on West Street that particular year my legs were so knackered.. Yet this chap just strolls in for a similar time as me...grrrrr

    Don't expect Comrades association to do anything about it. This questionable result from 2018 is still there and valid despite me raising it with them. I provided proof that there were no photographs of him between Winston park and the finish as well as highlighting these splits to them and nothing was done

    I browse this on Tapatalk - i don't see any adverts already I don't use the classifieds There is zero benefit of becoming a plus member for me...but Matt only gets advertising revenue from this and a forum like this needs continuous monthly input and costs...so to me its my way of contributing
